This is the spot! Don’t let the small, unsuspecting storefront fool you. This place has amazing truly local food for a fair price. You want to eat like the locals, this is where you go. Duck was so tender and perfectly smoked.
Off the Waikiki tourist trail but well worth the 15 minute walk. Amazing flavour, friendly staff and great value! Really recommend it if you're after authentic Hawai'i.
Stopped here for lunch right after landing having been told they have the best Loco Moco on Oahu. Ordered the plate with two spicy patties, rice and eggs. Wonderful!
OMG I would.move to Hawaii for this place!!!! The food was delicious and it felt so much like eating with family. It's just a perfect local.spot and I will make sure to make this a part of my Hawaii trips from here in out.
Excellent no frills BBQ lunch spot. Portions are huge, two of us shared the mixed plate with kalbi and pork, both were excellent. The mixed rice and kimchi were tasty and a good balance with the meat.
Some of the best food I've had on the island! The butterfish was delicious and the pork was awesome! The fried rice and Mac salad topped it off. You will leave here happy and with a full belly! And it isn't too hard on the wallet either! Definitely worth a visit!

Just had lunch at this place. Super hidden gem. The guy running the front was chill and gave us some recommendations. We ended up ordering the smoked combo plate, with smoked pork and chicken. Yes yes yes!!! Omg it was the best we’ve ever had. The chicken was moist and had a great flavor. The pork was caramelized and juicy. Like yum!!! My mom got the chili…ehhhh was not good. Super super salty and kinda had a weird flavor to it. Not sure what was up with that. But the other food was amazing. WillCome back and try the fried rice next time.
Soooooo ono. I had their smoked pork bowl and it had such great flavor. Highly recommend.
