The noodles were decent but the broth was somehow bitter. For what they charge, there should be more vegetables and meat. So disappointed. Noods Ramen Bar was much better.
They are not open for breakfast anymore. They need to take the signs down at ALL their locations! Nothing is more annoying than driving across the island to only find out a tiny piece of paper is posted saying they aren’t open for breakfast anymore…
First time for me was Sunday. A friend took me. He said, “This place is better than Tenkaippin Ramen in Kapahulu.” So I was excited because Tenkaippin is a great ramen restaurant. Unfortunately we came on a bad day (I guess). We waited 30 minutes for a table which is always good news for a restaurant. When we got to our table there were only two people serving the floor. With a packed house that meant the wait was going to be long. We waited and talked then ran out of things to say haha. Eventually a person came to give us our waters. They were extremely busy. I ordered the fish dumplings and tan tan ramen, my friend ordered the same with gyoza on the side. The soup was hot but the noodles were warm. The fish dumplings were warm as well. Not much flavor. I ate sparingly. My friend ate his noodles but didn’t touch the soup base and he ate one gyoza. I asked him how his noodles were and he said, “Okay I guess.” That was not the response I expected but I felt the same. The menu was filled with many different dishes perhaps I chose the wrong one for me. I don’t like everything on a restaurant menu so this place was no different. I thanked my friend for lunch..but next time I’m going back to Tenkaippin.I also think on such a busy day they should have more servers. I went to the Kahala Mall location and one nice thing is Kahala Theater is few feet away.
Not too crowded at 7:45 p.m. on a weeknight. Tables adequately spaced, masked staff. Excellent tonton ramen, very tender pork belly, somewhat macerated greens, but not overcooked.
Never again, bird running around on restaurants floor!!!!!Disgusting! Waiters don’t even try hard to get it out!!Don’t Wanne know what animals they have in kitchen!!Where is the f.. Manager ???Should send the government to check this place!
Kahala Goma Tei serves breakfast 7:30-10:30 am. They have awesome lilikoi souffle pancakes, strawberry souffle pancakes and kakuni belly pork bao, ajitama eggs and soft poached eggs I forget the name.
The best is they Tan Noodles and the Gyoza or the curry Loco Moco or they char Siu rice bowel with the egg on top or they curry tonkatsu rice bowel
Breakfast and Lunch were surprisingly very good! And the price was great as well ?
Disappointing. The chicken was served cold and separate from the fried rice, not as advertised. The chicken in both meals tasted very low quality
Our favorite ramen place in the island. They’re very efficient, we love their charsiu tan tan ramen, it’s worth the extra cost! It’s packed with meat.Their keiki ramen is perfect for picky eaters, we request the toppings on the side, and this is the one food she’ll eat consistently.Even with covid restrictions, you’re sets pretty quick and their take-out is made well with soup and noodles separate.Their breakfast on weekends is also amazing! I highly recommend their soufflé pancakes, very light, fluffy, with a nice vanilla flavor.
