Best Ramen on Ohahu, we've eaten there almost every day, good prices, great variety and great service! Simply awesome restaurant.

Ordered chashu ramen - the meat is stiff and hard to chew on. That should not be the case - it should create a melt-in-your-mouth experience. The ramen lacks texture, soup broth is bland. The only upside is the portion is decent. Would not recommend.

vacationing in Hawaii, we celebrated my wife's birthday here as she was in the mood for Ramen. She really loved the portions and taste was really good as well. We would recommend this place

I’ve been to Japan a few times and I feel like this had a very Japanese vibe to it. The ramen was very different than the usual Tonkatsu ramen I’m used to. More of a spicy sesame seed flavor, but it was still rich and delicious. The noodles were perfectly made, and absorbed the flavors of the broth wonderfully.Gyoza was good. Not the greatest I’ve ever had but they are up there. We also had a side of katsu pork and it was wonderfully crispy and moist. The interior is not the cutest, but the great food makes up for it.

We both got bowls of Tan Tan ramen, a rich sesame broth loaded with homemade noodles. I got the char siu, three thick slices of tender roast pork belly, and my wife got the chicken. Welcoming staff, quick service, and really quite tasty

Goma Tei Ala Moana Shopping CenterI’ll be honest I have a high level of expectation when it comes to Ramen. Visiting Japan ruined most of Hawaiis options for me.But as far as ramen goes Goma Tei is a fairly good option. The flavors are strong and the ramen itself is fairly customizable. The Gyoza here is also really good. I recommend getting that as a side if possible. My reasons behind the 3 star rating is service and pricing. Its on average $13 a bowl which in my opinion is relatively pricy. Goma Tei also has a way of adding “table service fees” to the bill which is not the best. The service is lacking. Rarely checked on and had to ask for water. But if you’re looking for decent ramen, I recommend

This is the best ramen I've ever had in my life. Granted, my other ramen experience is one legit ramen place in Seattle and...Top Ramen (which I do add stuff too to make it better), but still. So this review is not from an authentic ramen connoisseur, but take my word that it is damn tasty! This was my first time trying tan tan ramen, which is made with sesame paste and soy milk. The flavor of the broth was incredible. I got the vegetable tan tan ramen and it came loaded with fresh veggies steamed to perfection. The runny egg was the cherry on top. There is a ramen place where I live but in the pics the eggs aren't runny and that's honestly what keeps me from going. A runny egg is a must. The noodles themselves were perfect consistency too. I think this was my favorite meal on the whole trip. I really want to go back, or try a pathetic attempt to recreate it. One last thing, the bowls are big and it's a lot of food so it's a good thing this is located at the Ala Moana Mall so you could walk it off after.

I ordered their braised port noodle dish and the meat was sooooo tender and flavorful. I do think the broth was slightly too strong for my taste buds but it was delicious nonetheless!

Great ramen. I highly recommend it.

The truffle ramen is a must try! Very flavorful and you can definitely taste the truffle. The gyoza is decent but nothing special.
