It's an older Japanese deli, with good food. Unfortunately, when they run out of food, they close their door. Their beef teriyaki was already gone...
This is a somewhat busy okazuya with lots to choose from. Staff is very friendly. Prices are a bit steep for what its worth. Food was okay. Their mochi is probably the only thing I really liked from here.
A friend brought us here and it was THE BEST! The food was really good and the staff was very friendly. They had a variety of fish and meats. I have a shellfish allergy and they made sure everything I got was safe. I highly recommend trying this place.
Very expensive, but good selection. It's easy to get carried away, but brace yourself when they give you the total. 2 plates and a side order of hot dog sushi came out to $40!!! The parking is extremely limited, and I often have to pass because there isn't any parking
Absolutely love Fukuya's. Food is always consistently great! Some favorites I grew up with are still made at Fukuya's, nishime, namasu, assorted musubi, Inari sushi (cone sushi, large) butterfish..well the list goes on. Since we live on the Windward side, we really need a reason to head into Honolulu. We did have to go to town, and took out Fukuya's for lunch. Never disappoints.
My family has been coming here for 20 maybe 30+ years.. I don’t remember how old I was when we first started getting Fukuya but was a staple of my childhood and now my daughter is enjoying their delicious food. Some of are faves and must haves include inari sushi,Mac salad,chow funn,chow mein,fried chicken,hot dog,and crab cake. Sometimes it’s busy if you don’t get their early but food is delicious! Highly recommend if you’ve yet to try!
Sooo tasty. Yes, parking is hard and there is a line. But it’s worth it! I got nori chicken, furikake ahi, spicy ahi poke, fresh mochi, and Bento A. It was all amazing!

My Togo box was $19. Lol but it was good. You just go in and pick things and it adds up. Whatever you choose it’s never the same price they have for the chosen box
