Fujiyama Texas was an absolute delight. All of the kushi katsu we ordered were cooked so perfectly crispy. I highly recommend the softshell crab. For dessert, the basque cheesecake was phenomenal. And what izakaya would be complete without the drinks? I'm happy to say they have amazing chuhais that are hard to find elsewhere. I'll definitely be back!

What an authentic kushi katsu place!! The atmosphere is so good, and all staff member is so nice. Willing to visit again when I visit Hawaii next time

Incredible kushi katsu - Great variety and everything we ordered was amazing. Good vibes inside the small restaurant. Recommend getting a reservation.

If you are in Honolulu I recommend you get off the main strip and work your way to this little gem. Great service. Yummy beer. Every bite of food was amazing! The beef tataki was outstanding! The katsu was crispy and full of flavour(order lots) and the tuna poke melts in your mouth. Devine!

OMG ❣️ this was one of my best culinary experiences in Honolulu. The authenticity and rich flavors were wonderful. The fusion of Japanese and Texan /western couldn't have been better. delicious Poke, croquetes, sake sampler, beef tataki, potato salad, watercress salad....crazy and amazing fusion of flavors.

Don't let the incredibly strange name deter you, this kushikatsu place was amazing for just being a great place to drink with friends. Their prime beef kushikatsu skewers were delicious and just about everything on this menu was great and filled us up for a reasonable price. Service is fast and attentive, go here if you're looking for a good chat with friends.

I've gone to this place for the first time but I enjoyed eating Kushi-age and a lot of Japanese dishes. The staff at the restaurant was amazing, and I had the wonderful time there.

Quiant kushi yaki bistro with Japan authenticity excellent service and ambiance

I liked their curry, so 5 stars it is. The rice portion was a bit small though. The fried stuff was good.

Accidentally came across the restaurant. Walked in and it was full, but we were able to snag a table after a short wait. Didn’t know what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised. Ordered the simmering pork, pork curry rice dish, croquettes, eggplant, and smashed cucumbers. Every thing was really good, especially the simmering pork dish. Also had Ashai on tap… it was cold and paired well with the food. Would recommend people come check it out.Service staff was also very nice and efficient. They were flying around the restaurant. Just had to raise my hand to get their attention and they were right there.
