The service speed was very very good. Nice atmosphere. The food was a big disappointment though. The quality of the beef was choice at best. I’ve bought choice ribeye at Costco and it was far far better than this restaurant ribeye. It was cooked correctly but their management needs to not cut corners on the food. The shrimp was chewy as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The mahi-mahi was fishy and not fresh at all. We regretted going
We had dinner here after spending all day touring the island. I liked the fact that I did not have to walk too long to get to this place from my hotel room. I had the rigatoni bolognese, and it was good. The server was friendly and efficient, and we got our food pretty quickly. I got seated with a great view of the luau. It's not the best Italian food I had, but it satisfied my kids' craving for pasta and meat sauce.
This place wasn't bad but it wasn't anything crazy. The service was friendly and quick and the price isn't bad at all. The caesar salad actually was pretty decent, the carbonara was a little cream heavy and the chicken was overcooked but the pasta itself was flavourful and delicious. Not a bad spot to check out if you're in the mood for some pasta.
Good food, friendly staff. But if you've never dined here , let it be known besides the average, sterile dining room and iffy outdoor area, they do have a dining room that overlooks the Hilton property and great lawn area. Much more pleasant and inviting. NOT that the lackluster hostess would give you the option. Shame on her!!
“Eh.” It’s the best I can say about this restaurant. The wait staff was very friendly. The food came out FAST but so fast that you questioned how exactly it was ready so fast. The simple answer is that the menu is pretty limited and you can tell that nothing is too “fresh”. My daughter complained that her pasta was too “Al dente” and bland. My fish was also pretty bland. Menu was limited and kind of pricey. We were staying on property so it was convenient but that’s about all it had going for it. I won’t be going back .
Calamari as an appetizer was very fresh. Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and my wife had the shrimp pasta. Both were quite tasty but my spaghetti dish could've been a bit more hearty for the price. The saving grace of the evening was the great service by the staff. They were very polite and attentive.
Restaurant was beautiful, food was sub par. We ordered the calamari and it came out freakishly fast, like not long enough for them to have actually made it fresh for OUR order. Calamari was wet and soggy on the outside, and chewy like rubber on the inside. I also ordered the carbonara, which also came out freakishly fast, and while it *looked* good, the pasta was hard and chewy. The sauce was good but I really couldn’t enjoy it with how chewy the noodles were. My friend ordered the special which was spaghetti and meatballs, and she said the noodles were the same, hard and chewy. But that the sauce was good. She also said the meatballs were weird and just not good.THEN, the waiter offered us parmesan cheese to top the pasta, and grabbed the whole cheese block with his BARE hands and proceeded to offer to shave it over our plates with his bare hand on the whole cheese block. Covid or not, that’s not food safe sanitary practice and is just plain gross. For the price and the quality of the food, I was disappointed and will not return here. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. Just go like anywhere else, I’m sure you’ll get properly cooked food anywhere else.
Great service! Manager was from Indiana.
Mediocre at best. There was nothing special about the food, drinks, service or ambiance. It was especially disappointing give all the good reviews. Calamari was chewy and not edible - a shame because my kids love calamari. Chicken parmigiana, Risotto and seafood linguine was mediocre at best. Not worth the prices they charge.
Went for a birthday dinner looking for new Italian places and this one was ok. Not in my top five so far but the waiter was great. The food was a big portion as you can see with the chicken parmigiana, but I felt it lacked flavor.
