We were first time visitors to Honolulu (vacationing from Arizona) and upon arriving at the airport we searched Yelp for the best breakfast in Honolulu and battled the traffic & parking to try this restaurant (based on previous reviews and photos) to treat my family of 5 to an enjoyable breakfast. We entered the restaurant and a younger girl at the front made us feel less than welcomed, first of all with her confused look, then by asking if we had a reservation (with all tables empty and zero customers in the restaurant). I asked if reservations were required, she then went to the back to whisper with the owners. The young lady returned and seated us.The chalkboard and table menu’s (with less choices than seen in reviews) were brought over. We ordered drinks —a delicious and refreshing watermelon hibiscus and a bitter coffee. We also tried a tasty apple pastry, but we decided to ask for the check and try another restaurant that would appreciate our business and provide a better experience. We would’ve tried more of their unique and interesting menu, but their unpleasant welcome killed it for us.

Very nice flavors! Really creative herb use. Portions are not large but, actually, turned out perfectly (unless you eat Cheesecake Factory a lot).We had breakfast and everything was cooked precisely and presented attractively.Service was pleasant though tentative and seemed inexperienced. (So many places struggling with hiring still.)All in all, very good and recommended!

Went to Farmhouse Cafe to drink coffee and have lunch with some friends. The latte I had a dark roast flavor to it, I would guess it’s a medium to dark roast blend. The food was phenomenal and I really enjoyed myself. I had the Chicken Gruyère which had a nice initial bite and balanced flavor. Nothing was too powerful or overbearing. My friend had the gourmet burger which closely resembled the one in the painting. He thoroughly enjoyed it and claimed it was the best burger package he’s eaten so far. I will definitely be returning to Farmhouse Cafe to try other items on their menu.

Excellent service! Variety of choices for Breakfast and lunch! Loved the mushroom sandwich! Kudos for following safe Oahu guidelines!

Highlights: beignets and cappuccino were the saving grace for this visit and decor is quaint.Other reviews sounded great so we came to give it a try. Today may have just been an off day for them so we'll make an attempt to come back and give them a second try.The cold brew coffee was a bit sour but a nice touch was that they used frozen coffee cubes so it wouldn't water the drink down as it melted. The Duck Egg Tartine wasn't bad, but I've discovered that duck eggs aren't for me. It's a single toast and topped with one egg, I thought I could just pick it up, but the toast was cut diagonally so I almost lost everything in my haste to dig in to a very well plated dish. My husband got the chorizo omelette. The chorizo was tasty but very dry and the omelette was very wet.Service was very off today. It's a small place and including us had about ten people in it. Tables sat dirty for long periods and the two servers seemed very confused about who was taking care of us. It was 15 mins before we got menus, 20 until we got water and longer until they came for our order. The water jars had a white residue on the outside which was off putting.Hopefully our next visit goes better, we're always up for giving second chances.

Beigets on Oahu? Yep...some of the BEST I have had the pleasure of eating and experiencing. Light and fluffy inside with the perfect either fabulous chocolate sauce or homemade strawberry jam. Uh, I asked for both and glad that I did...service is lovely, they know their menu suggesting the perfect item for your appetite. I hope folks can come and enjoy all the amazing goodness here!
