Great local plate lunches. Reliable and yummy
Great place in kaimuki, been a long time customer back when they were on Keeaumoku st. Love their salt and pepper porkchops and chicken wings.
The honey garlic chicken batter has slightly changed from when they used to be on Koreamoku, but still really good.
Before I made my order, I asked the clerk if they have veggie spring rolls, she said yes. Well, when I got my order and went to my car, the spring rolls had meat. I went to go get veggie ones only to find they don’t have any. I told her, “I asked you if you had veggie spring rolls, you said yes.” She made an excuse probably because she didn’t listen before telling me yes. So I asked for a refund because I was not going to pay $16 for a plate of noodles and veggies only. Guess what? She refunds me the amount before taxes. I told her, I paid taxes; she plays stupid, so I said, “Forget it” and walked out. On top of that, she lacks “good” customer service.While this may seem minor; it’s the fact that I wasted my time and it was bad customer service. Having been a sale’s rep/cashier…the company I worked for; stressed excellent customer service. And if I could give it no stars; I would.
Just paid 40 dollars for these two plates smh. My girl got the sweet and sour spare ribs and she wanted fried rice, they said it was an up charge of 2 dollars so we said ok. I wanted to make sure I had a enough ginger scallion sauce for the cold ginger chicken and when I asked how much he said to get extra which would be another two dollars which wasn’t even worth it ?. After we got our plates we realized that with the up charge for fried rice we give up the option for mac salad. We asked why no more and he said gotta pay extra again! Didn’t make sense we paid extra for the sides or upgrade but they still take away the mac salad. They need to change that asap
I just had their sour pork rice plate take out. The taste was okay, but what is not okay is two strains of hair found in the food I almost ate. . . .

Whenever I'm craving to go out and eat but dont want to drive far, I'll come eat here. They have a very large menu but lots of photos so you know what your food will look like. Today I got the chicken jook, dine in. They have hand sanitizer available and they are clean inside. The cashier (very polite) brought our food out to us. Told us to just leave our bowls on the table. The portions are awesome and the food was fresh and amazing.No complaints here. Good job Pho 27. Keep up the good work and good food. :)Mahalo nui
