When I come home to hawaii, this is my go to place for breakfast. Over the years it’s become popular and now there’s always a waiting list to get seated. I can say this is true for both locations. Today, it was time to revisit this place and have some local style breakfast. As I arrived, I can see people already waiting to be seated. I signed in and joined them. Note: you can sign up to be on the waiting list through Yelp. Once you sign up, it’ll send a text confirmation. I messed up and didn’t fully sign in and never got the text, and almost an hour had gone by and my name was never called. I talked with the host and he was able to get me seated. I ordered the loco Moco and the Hawaiian style pancakes. Know that these are Hawaiian size servings so be hungry when you come! The Loco Moco with sunny side up eggs was just right. The pancakes were fluffy and I loved the bits of pineapple, coconut, & macadamia nuts. I asked for coconut syrup but it wasn’t the usual coconut syrup like before. They gave me Haupia like sauce. Which is good for me because I love haupia but someone who is not from Hawaii may not like it since it’s not a syrup it’s more like a pudding consistency. Try it if you love coconut! Overall, the food was good, the staff was nice. Make a reservation and enjoy a good breakfast with much Aloha! Njoy!

I took my mother and two adult daughters there for breakfast and had a great experience. The food was delicious and the portions were large. We had the eggs benedict with crab cake and the eggs with sausages with a side of pancakes. The food was rich and full of flavor. Looking at all the food going past us, we can't wait to try the waffles or the french toast loaded with a mountain of whipped cream. The staff was very friendly, funny and very attentive to refilling our soda and water. They really made the whole experience so enjoyable. We will definitely come back a few more times while on vacation!

Long wait, even at 7am, but totally worth it! No matter what you do, be sure to try the coconut syrup!! Soooo good! Their Eggs Benedict was also great! Try the taro bun for a little adventure - you won't be sorry!

On our first day in Hawaii we were jet lagged coming from the east coast of the mainland. We got here right when they opened at 6 am and there was no wait. The service was really friendly and attentive. My family of picky eaters all loved their food. And the prices were really cheap. It’s a no frills decor inside but that didn’t detract from our experience. Highly recommended!

We were here for a breakfast and enjoyed their food a lot. There is a little wait time so have some time to enjoy the breakfast here. We loved their rainbow waffles and French toast. It was delicious just like the photos and people sitting next to us were literally taking photos ? Mahalo Eggs ‘n things!!

Decent food, not amazing. Prices didn't seem to as bad as some the of the other places but still pricey as to be expected. Wait staff was great and attentive even at the 6am opening. Decent view of the beach. We arrived just before the 6am opening and there was a line but we did not wait to be seated. It is a small building and only has about 12 tables. Of course there is no reliable free parking nearby, so it's more for those within walking distance.

The food was average, nothing over the top, but it was good. There is a waitlist and you can expect to wait about an hour and a half when their not busy or you can expect to wait longer during their peak hours. The service however was pretty nice and the staff are very friendly!

We waited about 45 mins. for a table. The hostess was a bit rude when I asked how to get my name on the waitlist. We both had the bacon and eggs. The coffee, tea, and eggs were good but the bacon was not cooked enough and limp. We didn't think Eggs and Things lived up to the hype. Even though the server was friendly--Probably won't go back again. Not worth the wait!!

Waited over two hour to try some Local food. Breakfast say very good however the sitting was nit that good as we had to sit at the counter.

Worth the 98 minute wait. Basic but delicious. The Loco Moco it better with a little acid like salsa. Can't go wrong with Hawaiian French toast and an omelet with Portuguese sausage and home fries.
