The duck is amazing - exquisite flavor and very tender. Large portion sizes, very cheap.
The fried rice was not as good as I expected it would be. The crispy gau gee mein is great.

#grateful this experience was authentic, tasty, and filling! Make sure to enjoy whatever you eat. The food is filling and tasty, but my favorite aspect was the cultural feeling of the interior. Bound to make any experience more enjoyable. Will be returning for their kung pao chicken. Lots of tables which can seat a party of 8+! Great location for nearby chinese (cantonese) food in Kaimuki.

Growing up in a Cantonese household in NYC I enjoy good Cantonese food whenever I travel. Duk Kee is one of those places. The food is old style with just a touch of Hawaii. The "Aunties" working there make the place feel more at home. I visited with friends who live on Oahu and liked the place so much that I went back again. I preordered the ribs the day before and was happy that I did. The prices even for Hawaii won't break the bank.
