The food was delicious ???
Family atmosphere with very good service and a broad range of everyday foods!
We arrived late night, woke up hungry. Looked at a map and Dennys was really close. We will never eat here again with so many better options around. Place was packed. They must be short staffed because nobody had a cheerful disposition. I should have read the other reviews. My Denver omlette was undercooked with really runny eggs. Now I know to just head down Kalakaua and find any other place.
Waitress was lovely , the food was great. We all cleared our plates. I had chicken addiction and so tasty. Daughter had the nachos and they were a tad spicy and my son had a kids cheeseburger and loved it .
The food was pretty good but everything else was mid. service mid. food mid. enjoyability mid. plot mid. characters mid.
Craving eggs and bacon for early dinner! Attentive staff. Clean place. Great location :)
We ordered burgers takeaway for dinner and walked to our room 2 mins. The burger patty and chips were stone cold. I would not recommend this place if you are wanting reasonable food .
Denny’s, Lewers Lane Waikiki is a 24/7 Diner in the Imperial Hotel. Just like all the Denny’s they have a great selection on the menu whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner or something in between. Being in Hawaii they have a few extra dishes to choose as well so you won’t be disappointed. Staff are always friendly and helpful with great service.
Used to be phenomenal breakfast go-to... coffee still great, but skillets 1/2 portion of what it used to be. OJ not fresh, out of a can, bitter. Explains why, among other things, no longer a line or wait to get in. Denny's, Kalia Rd/Lewers
Food was alright, but it stops there. When we walked in there was 2 hosts, 1 male and one female. The female went and sat the people in front of us down and went and did something else in the back, and the male started to count his cash drawer. He didn't look up even once to see we were right there. I started counting down from 30 in my head until I walked out and took my business elsewhere. At 4 seconds the female came back and seated us, still not even as much as eye contact from the male. My steak was Cooked more medium than medium well but it was still good. When we went to pay my brother FORGOT (simple mistake) his mask at the table. We no longer require them where we live but are respectful of other places regulations (and walked in with them on). The female host very shortly and rudely said "u need a mask!" and walked away like a bat out of hell to the back. Either they just had long days of dealing with people (we both know as we work in the service industry) or they are uneducated in basic guest service. Will not be back next time we are here.
