Updated 7/6/22:Cashiers are super friendly - great service! But literally the worst lamb gyro I’ve ever had in my life. Cut of lamb is poor, seasoning is pretty bland, the pita wasn’t toasted (felt like I was eating raw dough).Literally just threw it away after two bites.Smoothies are great, salads are good; but the cooked food...meh, hit or miss. I always come back hoping it’ll be better but it never is, lol. Sorry Da Spot. Customer service is good though! They messed up my sandwich (chicken gyro has been good every time, but sometimes they put too much yogurt sauce) and made me a new one!
Went to location at The Lanai in Ala Moana and was very disappointed. I ordered the Chicken gyros and it was overcooked and not seasoned evenly. The time it took for my order was too long and the person maning the front counter didn't pay attention to when orders were complete. Won't ever be going back. They should learn from the Greek Marina in Hawaii Kai....
I ordered a beef gyro and could not even chew it. The gyro was the giant chucks of meat and not thinly sliced. Seriously not only it was not a gyro it was just not a good tasting meat. The sauce is good. Giving one star to xtra for the sauce. The service is slow and terrible. Honestly should be ashamed of yourselves
Absolutely horrible! Years ago… I used to love grabbing food from the original King Street location and it was always so tasty…We ate at Alamoana yesterday and it was the worst food ever! First of all the girl kept getting our order wrong no matter how many times we repeated it (it seemed like she couldn’t understand English nor read it on the register is that took a very long time and she still charged us for the wrong plates) she asked us what salad we wanted must have done it like four timesWhen we finally got our food it was not what we ordered (I ordered my fave Moroccan chicken and got this cold disgusting snapper and very mushy “doesn’t even taste like“ saffron rice my husband got the garlic shrimp which was also cold and then we asked what it was cooked with they said “I don’t know“ when I went back to return my plate to explain that I ordered moroccan chicken but I was charged for the snapper … The employees were speaking Micronesian to a bunch of their friends that were hanging around the counter (their friends were much more pleasant and interacting than employees) not being prejudice just making a statement and description of who was cooking the food and serving it which is not true to the authentic original location when you ask questions about the salads or foods they have no idea can’t even tell you the ingredients… This location is bound to shut down in the next few yearsAnd if you order for delivery… Be wary of what’s going in your food… We were watching! I rarely ever complain… I never take food back at restaurants… So you know this was a bad experience!

Getting food from here is always a gamble. Not in terms of food quality since it's always pretty good, although portions could be a bit bigger. The inconsistencies are in other areas. Employees vary a lot in terms of their knowledge about the food/menu and their customer service abilities. Sometimes food won't be available for order because they don't have it, they've run out, or it's not ready yet even though they've been open for hours.Again, the food is good, but it's usually not worth the gamble of not knowing if you'll be able to order what you want.
They're supposed to open at 10am. 3/22/22 I come in almost 10 minutes past and they looked closed... I ask the lady in front "What time are you open ?" She says "When the food is ready" ? Monitors & lights in the front aren't even on smh. Very poorly run and managed branch of a local favorite.Who is running this business ?!Haven't tasted the food but Smoothies are great ??
Good menu variety , large portions and very good prices, I wish I discovered it earlier in our trip.
