I love this food court. There is nothing better than almost unlimited sprunch, a hot dog and a chicken bake. Those churros are awful though.
There’s reason why there’s 4 Costco warehouses in Oahu. Cost of living in Hawaii is high. This Costco is better than the one in Waikiki as it has more stock. You can beat a pack of 2 T-shirts’ for $5, yes $5. Although it ain’t 100% cotton as it’s polyester and spandex blend it’s best value if you need more clothes. This place had the açai bowls that I wanted to try in stock. I’ve stocked up twice here compared to the other location.
Due to geographical limitations, we've always frequented Costco's competitor in town. I figured, they're basically the same thing, right? Wrong. I'm thankful for a family member recently getting a membership to Costco, where we've discovered all the things that makes this place great. This location is in Hawaii-Kai on the Ewa side of the pond. They have ample parking that's shared with Ross and others stores and restaurants in the mini-mall. Outside is a stand for pizza and ice cream, be sure to note this is cash or debit only. Inside is the entry with membership desks, car deals, and other promotional items. Inside is the main warehouse store. They have everything in bulk at low prices. Frozen foods, produce, boxed food are around the outside and the back; books, clothing, toys, furniture, and sports equipment are in the center. You never know what goodies you'll find; it's hard for us to make it out without buying more than we planned. Restrooms are in the front. The checkout area is large and spread out, plenty of space to social distance. Workers here do your scanning for you, they're fast and efficient. Employees were also friendly and helpful, it made for a personal and pleasant experience. Crowds are easier here than the Iwelei location, but there is no gas station here either.
Had to join up to be able to buy anything in here but OMG was it worth it, we bought clothes, food and alcohol at ridiculous prices, forget duty free and buy here.
Don't get the acái bowl with high expectations. Tastes more like a raspberry sorbet with dried bananas, bits of granola and blueberries. The hot dogs are awesome and so is the strawberry sundae. The burger is not very great lol
Food is great as with any Costco. However, this remains the only Costco where I have been attacked by a Rat.
Good pizza at a great price!
Even if you leave behind half the food, it's still cheaper to shop at Costco in Hawaii. No other store compared. This was the only affordable store to buy fruits and vegetables. We went straight to Costco after arriving in Honolulu. I bought a large cheese pizza for $10 and a couple of smoothies and acai bowls. Dinner cost around $28 which is a bargain. Yes, the pizza was greasy, but smoothies were adequate and everyone was fed.
Where do you get a quality all beef 1/4 lb, hotdog and soft drink for a dollar fifty. The price hasn't changed since its introduction. I love their chicken salad and pizza. Also great quality at great price.
A great place if you are living in Hawaii and travel with a family and need to stock on goods. Feels like most other Costco locations, with solid prices and bulk items.
