Is it expensive here? Yes. Is the food absolutely delicious here? You bet! As a matter of fact, this is the best Korean food I've had outside of Korea. I showed pictures to a Korean friend who was actually impressed by the food here. I ordered a bunch of stuff for sampling purposes and all were great. I especially loved the makgeolli, gopchang and my favorite, the bibim naengmyeon.

This place is absolutely amazing! Listen, you will pay a pretty penny, but my goodness it is worth it. Everything was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend if you want some authentic Korean BBQ!

y friends and I recently ate lunch at Choi's Restaurant in Honolulu (aka Choi's Garden) and had a decent meal. We all ordered from the grill and were surprised with all the small side dishes that accompanied the various cuts of meats. Once we placed our order with the young woman assigned to our table, she rolled a cart over and placed many small plates with sauces, vegetables, etc. in front of us and turned on the grill. She then placed the meats on the table and walked away never to be seen again. We wanted to order water and drinks but felt as if we were disturbing the woman. At one time during the meal we ran out of sauces and asked for more only to be met with a look of contempt from the server. I guess we didn't speak Korean and that may be the reason she never came back to ask us if we needed anything else?? Not sure if I will return as there must be other Korean Restaurants with better service. Also some of the beef had a lot of gristle and wasn't edible so we left it on the serving plate.

My sister and I had lunch here after our favorite Korean restaurant was closed and moving to a new location. This was actually a very good substitute, thank you Choi's Garden for a nice and tasty meal.

Felt the need for some Korean food as the group couldn't find decent Korean food in New York or San Francisco. We ordered fish roe stew, kimchi stew and spicy cold noodle. The dishes had good depth and great flavor, we were super impressed with how much side dishes they provided.

Best Korean food ever! Great service included. Must visit place at least once. My favorite is tofu stew but others are great also.

Meat abd the side dishes were average. Price was average.Mul-naengmyeon was terrible. Seaweed soup was surprisingly good.

High end Korean food, free parking, great sevice. Bulgolgi has good taste, bi bim bap and mandoo great. Big prices but good and fresh. I wont say it is the best in hono at this price but it is very good and huge menu of varieties.

For Korean food, this place is very good. Try one of the Stone Pot Rice dishes.Well, it’s 4 years later (2021) and I still love this place. I’ve taken many people here from all over the world, they all loved it too. You can’t beat their stone pot rice, rib eye steak and brisket. It’s our favorite place now for Korean food in Honolulu.Don’t listen to the bad review whiners, they don’t like anybody. Waitresses have always been nice and attentive.

First time here and had a great experience. The food was very tasty. We ordered the unmarinated meat and the flavor was wonderful. Make sure to try the mandu and all the banchan.
