BEWARE! I was served old sushi and frozen edamame on my takeout order. The staff was extremely rude to me. There are much better sushi spots nearby that wont make you sick.

Not sure how this place doesn’t have straight 5 stars but it should. I’ve waited 6 years to eat here again and man was it worth the wait! I love this sushi, best I’ve ever had!
AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!! This is one of the worst japanese places I've ever been to and the worst restaurant I've been to in Hawaii.Food:-Takoyaki: small and flavorless. Instead of the typical sauce spread they give you a tiny speck of sauce along with 4 really small takoyaki. My group can also tell the tako used was frozen.-Sushi, sashimi, and sashimi bowl: terrible. Avoid at all cost. The fish used has all gone bad. It left an extremely bad taste in my mouth (and everyone in my party) 90% of the fish and seafood used had the rotten taste. We ordered 3 items and left sashimi cuz none of us wanted to eat it. Can you imagine how bad it taste for ppl to leave $$$ sashimi on the plate???Fried chicken: ok. Def the only edible thing out of all the items we ordered, but nothing amazing. Just typical chicken.Shame on you for having 4.5 star review on Google cuz it def does not deserve it. Do not be deceived. Again, AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!

First time reviewing this place. I have been here multiple times. It was great sometimes and other times the food tasted old. Avocado was browning.I made a low key approach to letting the staff know without shaming them. The owner refused to exchange the item for a different even with the equal amount.Nothing worse than an owner refusing to own up to their own poor quality food. Plenty of good places around.
