Shoyu ramen was a solid 8/10. Order the the $12 valve set, which was a solid 7/10. The grill pork is a 9/10, and would highly recommend. The setting of the place is a bit small but it’s 100% a vibe to be there. Waiters refilled my water without me asking. I would give this place a good 8.25/10

The food was only ok. We asked for grilled oysters but was given fried. The Yakitori meat were dry.

Wonderful, almost hole-in-the-wall place with great food, fair prices, and a vibe that made me feel like I was eating at an Izakaya in Japan. Here we found great Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki that I've been hunting for all trip, and as well as some delicious yakitori.Sitting inside, you could feel they have a strong connection to the community and a loyal local customer base. Definitely a huge plus considering how close it is to Waikiki and its abundance of tourist-trap type eateries.

Authentic Japanese izakaya in a local plaza, a very surprising find. Has great vibes and delivers delicious food. We visited twice during our stay, both came out really satisfied.

It was a delighted Japanese meal in here.Price is right. Customer service is pretty lit. Ambiance is warm. Food is so Ono (delicious). We got the Tori Don Set and Yakitori Value Set Meal. Both are good. Food is savory and seasoned well. A complimentary miso soup was served as well and it was warm! Ordered two set of edamame as well and t’was a perfect pika-pika while waiting for our bill.Surely a must try Japanese eatery when around McCully. Dining here was worth for our tummy. Will surely come back for more!

Great place for a beer and Japanese bar food. The yakitori is top notch. All of the skewers we tried were tasty. The place is cozy and the staff is very friendly.

My aunty and I stumbled across his place when our plans fell through. We got here around lunchtime and got seated immediately. Super small whole in the wall spot.. food was decent waitress was nice she even explained some of menu items when asked. Over all good experience

Nice place for yakitori. The poke variety bowl and steak were also excellent. Plenty of spaced out seating with a nice look and feel.

Happy Hour: 4:00 (!) - 6:45 PM.

Great food and staff! Only downside is that their AC is not cooling the restaurant enough.
