I don’t understand this place. The bacon epi is obviously your best selling item. Yet it’s either always out of stock or it’s not even made when you get there early to get them. Makes absolutely no sense. Every weekend I go there sold out. So I say I’ll get up early to get one when they open. I even waited outside while they opened 5 mins late. Yet he tells me they won’t be ready until 9. Like what in the heck . Never again.

Super good bakery with good prices. The pastries are amazing in texture and tase and is highly recommended.

Tasty! Can't wait to go back to get something to go with my coffee. At the Ala Moana center store the young gal that helped us was so pleaseant and friendly. Cute kid!?

I just had a chocolate croissant from here that took me to heavenly bliss. Also had a bite of my husbands garlic cheese bread that was also great. Waiting in line is worth it at this place.

Very good pastries here

To minimize the possibility of spreading COVID, a sign is posted on the outside that only four customers are allowed in the bakery at one time. Also, all the pastries are pre-packed in clear plastic bags. A disadvantage to the pre-packing is that pre-pandemic crispy items are now soft.

I go here pretty often for a cheap quick savory flatbread. The pastrami and cheese is my favorite. Fair warning though, mostly everything I end up getting is already cold. I don't mind so they keep the 5 stars, but I know it bothers some people. I noticed sometimes they label when food is taken out of the oven and sometimes they don't. I wish they were consistently labeling that.

Adorable bakery! I loved the bear buns with chocolate inside so much! Everything is fresh and tastes great. I highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious bread. Wow. Takes me back to living in Japan. Loved the anpan and the hot dog wrapped in bread. I don't think you could order a bad item. Can't wait to go back !

We were in the area twice during this most recent trip to Hawaii and both times, my niece requested the purple bread. It's made with purple sweet potato and there is a hint of that flavor but it isn't too strong. Plus, the bread is really fluffy. That girl has good taste!I also tried the curry puff and bacon/scallion bun. I really loved the curry puff but I might be biased because I'm obsessed with curry puffs in general. The bun was good too but it's super buttery so it would be too much to eat in one sitting. I shared this one with five other adults so that everyone could try it, and even that one bite was super rich.Brug is located in the back of the food court. There is another location in Ala Moana but it's much smaller and they have fewer options (i.e. no purple bread). Overall, it's a great option if you want a midday snack or are looking to pick up a quick brekkie for the next day.Tip - if you check in on Yelp and spend a minimum of $10, you can pick out a free pastry item!
