To be fair, this review is strictly for their takeout and customer service.We live nearby the restaurant, and were frequent dine-in customers as their food is top notch. Ever since the pandemic however; we were unable to dine-in frequently especially with a toddler. So, we decided to get their takeout one night.We called as soon as they open at 5pm, and were told it would take 30min. However, we got a phone call from the waitress at 5:30pm to come at 6pm instead. We understood how busy they must be, so we went at 6pm. When we arrived to pick-up our food, they told us it was not ready yet. In the meantime, dine-in customers who arrived at the same time were being serviced first and had their meals/sushi brought to them before our takeout order was ready.Ultimately, the takeout was ready at 6:30pm. By the time we got home to eat, it was my child's bedtime. Needless to say, it's clear that Bozu does not hold take-out customers to the same regard as their dine-in customers. What's even more disappointing, is that they seemed unapologetic about the whole situation.I later wrote a constructive feedback/email to the restaurant, because we've been such huge fans. To our surprise, we haven't received a reply.
This is a fantastic Japanese restaurant that’s low key but the food is fantastic. Highly recommend the sushi it’s superb.
Really nice place for freah sushi and sashimi. Quick and friendly service. Limited seating, so we had to wait a bit, but they called when our table was ready.
Delicious food, phenomenal service! We were taken care of by the most hospitable waitstaff, and the chefs have this thing (apparently) where they cheer whenever someone enters or leaves! Very fun, great atmosphere. Haven't been impressed by a dining experience like this in a long time!
This opens till 12am so if you want a late dinner, this is a good choice through reservation is recommended. It gets really busy so during peak hours, the entire shopping center's parking gets occupied too. But most of the neighbor restaurants close early except Bozu; parking won't be a problem. A key upon request is provided for restroom access. Food is delicious. Service is okay. The space becomes congested which makes it noisy, may be hard to hear each other on your own table. But, overall, I like this place. I would go back again.

One of the best in Oahu! Fresh seafood at reasonable price. Chef special sashimi and lobster tempura roll are must have, nigiri sushi worths every penny and more. Reservations needed as walk in is almost impossible at weekends and holidays.

All the food we had here were great. The corn fritter were so crunchy I couldn’t stop eating.Fish was very fresh!
