Our familyâs first time out all together in a long time and Berniniâs was perfect!
We took our waiterâs suggestions and ordered two appetizers: carpaccio and oysters. Both were bland. We expressed this to our waiter. The mushroom pizza was excellent, would definitely order that again. The crab pasta was ok. The chocolate and orange dessert was excellent. The group sitting next to us were uncomfortably loud. We could hear all the âjokesâ they were making.

Bernini has always been one of my favorite places to go. The crispy pizzas are always very good, any pasta choice is delicious and the deserts are delightful. The presentation of each dish is beautiful and the servers are always tentative and very polite.
The service was good. The atmosphere was okay; lights were bright and a lot of background noise, but pleasant ambiance. The food was dished nicely and flavorful. The reason for the lower rating is the portions were very small and the prices were on the higher side. For example, the tiramisu was $15 and maybe 4 bites? There wasnât anything special enough to go back.
The waitress was very nice and friendly and was more than happy to explain what each dish was. The food was amazing. Definitely one of my favorites on island now
Fantastic Italian in Hawaii I never expected. It was the last minute reservation I made due to other restaurant too far from where I was at lunch time. This restaurant is hidden from the street if you come walking. One of the lunch courses with 3 apps, pasta and dessert was 30 usd not bad at all considering all the dishes even the complimentary focaccia were superior quality.
Always enjoy having lunch with friends and clients! Food is delish! Value for lunch is outstanding!
