It was very busy when we went but not too bad a wait. Food was good, shave ice was delicious and coconut drinks were available up front i believe was another vendor. Beautifully set on the beach but watch out for the chickens and don’t feed them or they’ll jump at your plate. We watched the table next to us basically be attacked by the chickens and so the people pretty much ran.

We had breakfast at this place on a cool beautiful breezy day. You get in line to order your food from the kiosk (took about 30 minutes that day) and you pick a table that all includes views of the ocean. Wait for your order which was fairly quick (about 15 minutes). Super casual eating spot, hence the "bearfoot beach" cafe name. There was pleasant local live music entertainment too. The coffee was dark roast, which I enjoyed. We were looking forward to their sweet bread french toast, but they were out. Our favorite was the Royal Loco Moco.

Beautiful view right along the water. Delicious food and great atmosphere. All at reasonable prices. Will Recommend to everyone. Had the signature burger "Barefoot burger" and fries with pineapple juice in its original jar?. Also had a coconut water purchased from a street vendor right next door also in it's original jar.An FYI.. parking is metered so bring your change no credit cards and the restrooms are public restrooms open to all park goers and swimmers.

Amazing food and a unique outdoor dining experience. So popular—long lines around dinner time but well worth the wait! Five stars.

Had a long line because they were short staffed but the staff was still pretty fast and friendly. I ordered the egg fried rice which was yummy but small for the price. My friends had ordered the surf and turf and a burger which seemed to look tasty! The food was presented beautifully on their plates. They have tables that you can sit at with a great view. Pay to park/coin parking.

Should have listened to the reviews - it’s a cute spot for lunch, however the wait is incredibly long. We saw a decent size line and figured we would try it out - how long could it possibly be? I think we waited a half hour to order with less than 15 people in front of us. It was then 1 pm. We got our drinks SO fast - root beer float (which was incredible) and the iced tea. There were also signs saying to be patient with the wait time due to labor shortages and be patient with staff if they are out of ingredients. However our food didn’t come until past 1:40. We ordered the vegan poke bowl and I asked for creamy sriracha but they forgot, along with the fries with Parmesan. I will admit mine was pretty good. My boyfriend ordered the Hawaiian BBQ chicken and it was just alright. He also ordered the garlic fries and they were so gross- I don’t know what they did but they were the total opposite of my fries, extremely greasy and soggy. It almost felt like his were sitting for a while. Wanted to try dessert but really did not want to get online again. I would only come here on a whim and if you aren’t pressed for time (I understand the labor shortage, but god it was a really long time). Did not take off a star for the labor shortage, just the quality of the food. Don’t expect much, just something decent with a wonderful view!

This is a place to get Very good food in a very casual setting. Check out Catch of the Day and also the Ahi Burger (loved it). Just a short beach walk from the Park Shore Waikiki Hotel and located in a park type setting next to the ocean.

We stopped for dinner after attending Easter mass at St. Augustine by the Sea in Waikiki. The café is located on the beach and has covered and outdoor seating. The evening we were there was a 3-piece group providing live entertainment. Food is made to order and is ordered and picked up at a counter. If you go at dinner time like we did, expect to stand 45-60 minutes in a long, slow-moving line. It is worth the wait. My husband ordered the fish of the day (swordfish) served with steamed white rice with furikake and mixed greens with house vinaigrette ($15). I ordered the kalua pork and cabbage plate served with rice and greens ($13). My daughter is vegan and ordered Cynthia’s Vegan Spring Rolls ($12). We shared Acai Bowl ($13). All the food was delicious especially the Acai Bowl (first time trying it for me). Sit on the patio and watch the beautiful sunset. It’s located at the far end of Waikiki Beach and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They do not take reservations.

It was so nice having dinner with a view. While hearing the band in the background. The food was good not so pricey. They have enough options to make a choice. We also got the pineapple ? and this was a nice experience and the price was good. Nothing too fancy in the food. But it was nice for a quick unplanned dinner.

This gem of a restaurant sits, for all intents and purposes, right on the beach. As of this posting it only has outdoor seating and takeout is available. Plan on having some birds approach you looking for food, or if you sit under the trees, cups dropping on you or your meal. We managed to arrive just in time for the sunset. We ordered two items, the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken plate and the Pineapple Smoothie. The meal came with two mounds of rice, two chicken thighs, and some greenery. The chicken was juicy and well caramelized. The rice has just the right amount of stickiness, and the little bit of salsa was delectable. This was a fantastic place to eat and we were pleased to try it out. I highly recommend it.
