Delicious beef kabob with a side of rice and salad. Also had some of their naan bread which was so tasty. Worth the drive or walk out this walk and gives you a more intimate feel
It was our first experience in this restaurant. We tried to enjoy our food, but the quality of food was terrible as we still have stomachache, headache, and nausea. The meat of Kabob tasted and smelled weird, never had such awful kabob in our life. It seemed the meat was old or spoiled. Next was the tomato that is supposed to come with kabob. They first brought a tomato after five minutes and it tasted like it’s burnt with some sort of metal and when we said it smells terrible the waiter said oh yea because of the grill and without apologizing took it and said he will bring another one. And he brought it right after we were done with our food.We also had another food, eggplant stew. And it didn’t taste like eggplant stew. According to their menu it was supposed to have split peas, but we could barely find split peas and the eggplants were dissolved and the taste was not like an eggplant stew.We wrote our suggestions on a receipt and didn’t leave extra tip than what we were charged. The waiter who seemed to be the owner came after us in the parking lot and retuned the receipt that they had already crumpled and said we don’t need this. I felt scared to see him there, coming after us.I barely leave a bad review ( I think it’s my second one in 10 years) but since they didn’t listen to us and we still have a bad stomachache and need to go to the urgent care, I don’t want others get sick similar to us.
We ordered for delivery via Uber Eats and registered utensils as we were at a hotel. It is hard to rate the food when you have to eat with your hands..... To me, this is just the restaurant saying they don't care about their customers. I won't be back.
The worst Gheime, and very bad quality rice.I ordered Gheime and Ghorme Sabzi, and I was not able to eat the Gheime at all! It was like just like a greasy water, no tase, no Lappe, I just opened the food and put it in a trash. I can’t believe how the owner can charge people and serve such a worst quality food which doesn’t even look like to Persian food At AlllOn another note, my salad had no dressing! The food delivered with no spoon/fork!!! I stay at the hotel and How can I eat the STEW with No spoon!Never recommend this place to anyone.
Food was absolutely terrible. First time ordering from this restaurant I got the chicken kebab and bread i spent almost $25 on that meal and nothing on that plate taste good. The chicken was already burnt and taste like charcoal. the rice was sticky and already loss it’s taste. The bread looked good but tasted no different than the rice and chicken. If i had dined in i would’ve certainly asked for a refund. I bought it for dinner with the hope that i eat it and have enough energy for the following day(I’m fasting) but I should’ve sticked with the restaurants that I already know. The guy that took my order was nice and friendly (zack) but i wish the food was good.
Great kabobs, good service, and happy to see a good Persian restaurant in Oahu. The chicken, kabob, and salads tasted great. Nice small restaurant so try and get a reservation before arriving as there isn't much seating inside.
Good food however; they recently increased the prices by around 20% for some dishes. I understand that the inflation rate is 7% this year. But, could you be fair and increase your prices by 10%, instead of 20%? We were regular customers and now the new prices don’t let us order more! :((
Real Persian food, a great culinary experience ??greetings from Sweden.
Had a great experience last night at bar koko and Persian restaurant. The service was great and the food was very tasty - especially loved the chicken kebab! Highly recommend
Food is extremely delicious. Even home delivery came very hot. Portion are very well. We will be always ordering from this restaurant after all. I am from Turkey so it is really hard to find a real kebab taste around Honolulu. I cannot wait to go dine in as well
