Absolutely beautiful!! The views, whether day or night, are breathtaking!! Very helpful staff. Close to everything!!
We just spent five days here for our 30th anniversary and it was perfect. I can not see how anyone can complain about this wonderful hotel. Everyone in guest services and at Tiki’s went out of their way to make our stay special. I as well as many others feel this is the an amazing place. Our stay was Aloha!! The AWBH is where we will stay when we come to the island!
Grossly outdated and extremely small bathrooms are just a couple complaints of note. The service is terrible! The elevators are not working today and we are on the 19th floor. I’m repulsed and shutter to think that I threw this much money at a family vacation. This place makes a Motel 6 in Reno look like Trump Plaza.
Rooms are pretty dated. Basics in terms of room amenities...you can ask for a microwave no extra charge jut call em and ask for one. They provide beach towels and sunscreen at the front desk.If you elect to have a view of the beach and main strip, depending on the time of the year, it can be really noisy.Great location. Great value, veteran friendly, I would come back.
Checked into my hotel room and it smelt like mould. The furniture and decor is extremely dated. As well the mattress for some reason was soaking wet. When I brought these concerns to staff I was treated poorly and given attitude. Also you pay a resort fee for this hotel. The resort fee is for towels and coffee which most hotels anywhere else in the world give for free. Despite paying a resort fee you still have to pay for breakfast. The only good thing about this hotel is it’s Location and the balcony view. Stay somewhere else, there are three star motels that do a better job then here.
The rooms felt rather outdated and the bedsheets/mattress was not the most comfy in the world. It also took forever to get hot water in the shower. I guess it's a sign of the times but I was disappointed that housekeeping never came to my room the entire length of my stay. But that said when I did have a need they were quick to take care of it. I was also disappointed by the breakfast. I spent an extra 23 or something like that per night for the breakfast and other then the view I've had free breakfasts at many more hotels that were better then this one. So save your money and eat a better breakfast at one of the restaurants. If it wasn't for the awesome location and the friendliness of the staff I'd give it a three. But the front desk staff were awesome as was it's location.
Location is amazing, prices are reasonable, staff were all very helpful and friendly. They offer lots of great services with options for oceanfront balcony rooms (highly recommended). We were steps from many great restaurants as well as the aquarium and zoo. This hotel made our great time in Waikiki that much better. I WILL be staying here again.
After some initial hiccups about whether I'd paid for breakfast or not, our stay was quite good. Clean room, well-serviced. Staff was excellent; bed, bathroom, Wi-fi were, too. Location is fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay!
I stayed the 3rd time in this premier location hotel but was overall disappointed ! Prices have doubled but comfort and service have been cut in half :-( Everything is old, tired and worn. Bathroom is like a shoebox, no lanai furniture in my room, no microwave in room and housekeeping came only every second day… Parking cost are horrendously high and you wait quite a while for your car. Pool is very small but you don’t need the hotel pool as the beach is just across the road.
Prime location, direct Ocean and sunset view from Oceanfront room. Waikiki beach restaurants and shopping right downstairs and in waling distance. The car rental is also very easy to get from the hotel.
