Large portions! Delicious flavor combinations.
First the positives. Canât beat the value of the daily lunch special especially with everything so expensive now. Service was excellent. Restaurant was quiet, but thatâs to be expected since there wasnât that many customers at 11:30 for lunch on a Wednesday. Food portion was large. The not so good: pasta was undercooked , and I like mine al dente. But this was definitely undercooked. Chicken was too dry and hard. My suggestion would be to use skinless boneless chicken thighs instead of breast. I always like Pietros and thought the food was good for the price, which made it a great value. Maybe it was just the dish I tried or the cook had an off day. Not sure if I will be veining back soon, since the prices on their regular menu is quite expensive now. Wasnât like that the last time which was during the pandemic.
Always nice waitstaff and delicious well-cooked pasta. We love eating here!
Great food. Pasta perfectly cooked. Pleasant staff.
Overall, not too bad. No wow factor. However, for a quick Italian-style meal, it did the trick.
Good is always good. Staff is very pleasant.
Located on 12th Avenue, in the same location as the former Victoria Inn (Kokohead Cafe). World famous dressings and Japanese-Italian cuisine. Best sure to try their raw potato salad with a sampler of all of their popular dressings (original, miso, lemon, ginger). Truly amazing flavor and texture. The tarako and ika (spicy fish eggs and squid rings) mixed with spaghetti noodles. Truly unique flavor, no one else comes close to this great dish.Spaghetti: Pietro favorites, shrimp and mushroom with tomato sauce is perfectly seasoned and light tomato sauce.Lastly, the senior specials at $10.95 for either pizza or pasta, regular sized portions.
First time at this location after dining at the two Kapiolani locations in the past. The raw potato salad never disappoints. Simple atmosphere, but service is attentive and food was as great as ever.
Food consistently wonderful. Tadd's service was exceptional as always. We love the Chicken with Ernygii Mushroom with Yuzu Kosho sauce, and the Oriental Chicken Salad. Easy to make reservations via Open Table or just calling. We eat at Angelo Pietro once a week, and look forward to returning.
Haven't been to Pietro for years. Don't know why because food is still excellent! Won't wait years to go back again. In fact, going to get take out from there tonight after having eaten there last night.
