We went here for dinner for my wife’s birthday. Our daughter had never been to teppanyaki before and we were a bit apprehensive about how she would go. Our server Ken and chef Ryan soon put her at ease. The service was second to none, and the food was delicious! Ryan’s flair for putting on a show made the meal that much more enjoyable! Will definitely go back, and my only advice is to make sure you book. It gets very busy and even with our reservation we had to wait a while to be seated. Arigato

Cool,restaurant and a very nice Hibachi show. Food was good and service was also good. No complaints. Restaurant is located in downtown and close to all the shops and resort you could want or be staying at. Please make reservations they are busy.

Family of 4 went and had a great time. The chef was very entertaining. We all ordered the shrimp and it was very good. They give you sprouts, onions and mushrooms as the vegetables. The rice is the white sticky rice. If you want fried rice have to pay extra $5, which I thought was crazy. After the meal you get hot tea and ice cream. If you are from the east coast, like we are, they don't have shrimp sauce and the salad has some different sauce. Didn't like it. Would visit here again.
Loved the show and the food was really good! Was nice to see the food cooked and served when ready. Share a table with 4 others the LA couple, her birthday he probably a gangster as I don’t know anyone that flies to Hawaii for the weekend unless you are rick or a gangster. he wasn’t the rick type and had a mouth on him. Took away from the evening.
Fun atmosphere. Chef was funny and the food was delicious. The filet was perfectly cooked and staff provided excellent service. Server was very attentive.
We visited Tanaka of Tokyo on our last Waikiki visit and made sure to do so again this time. Although not cheap, it is always a great experience with great food. The service was prompt and friendly and our chef fantastic. Definitely a must visit for us every time we are in Waikiki.
Outstanding service and fantastic food - if you haven’t tried this restaurant you are missing out on something very special. Extremely well priced and plenty of food and entertainment. Probably the best Teppanyaki we have had worldwide. Do yourself a favour and go and see what all the fuss is about. With 3 restaurants in the same area, that speaks volumes about the patronage, food and service.
Best meal we had in Waikiki! Super fresh and delicious. The lobster tail is a must! They were running about an hour late but were very accommodating and apologetic. The meal made up for the lateness.
