Went here for breakfast for the first time & though the wait is long it moves quickly & the food is awesome. We tried the very berry soufflé it’s like a breakfast dessert it’s yum. Omelettes are good & so is the bagel, mind you we’re very critical of bagels (NYers here) & this place passed the taste test. Definitely try it when you’re in the area!
The souffle pancakes are a MUST GET - so fluffy, so airy, so delicious. My family was blown away by the taste! As the restaurant is close to the beach (and Hilton Hawaiian Village), the line starts up quickly so go early. The staff is super nice. We will hit this up again before we leave.
The line was very long, but well worth the wait. The service was outstanding and they managed the wait list perfectly. The omelet was so good and cooked perfectly and not scorched or brown. The pancake soufflé was also very good. A little disappointed in the lack of flavor in the Macadamia Nut topping. Would have liked to see some whole nuts.
There was a line to get a table. But it moved pretty quick. The service was quick. The food was so ono. The portions were good, not too small or big. Perfect for brunch. They only open from 7:30A to 1P. I definitely recommend this place when you visit Oahu and stay around Hilton Hawaiian Village hotels.
Very popular place. I waited for at least 40 mins. The food is definitely excellent in terms of the quality of cooking. The egg is cooked as requested (over medium), the gravy is thick and savory, and the patty is fresh. Nevertheless, the dish itself doesn't have anything special in terms of the composition of ingredients. People often have fried egg and sausage patties for breakfast, and loco moco essentially is just combining these two dishes with rice. Admittedly it is a well-cooked pleasant meal, but you’d better not hold your expectation high, imagining you are going to have something uniquely delicious.
We travelled as a family and found it hard to find breakfast places. The line of people waiting to get in here every day told us this was a good place. For Australians who aren’t familiar with the practice, there isn’t a queue but you need to put your name and number of people on the clipboard and wait. Unlike other places we visited aloha kitchen actively manages the list to make sure people are moving smoothly through. And the food was worth the wait. American bacon, breakfast potato, bagels. All were delicious. But nothing beats the soufflé which are like pancakes. My family tried almost all of the varieties during our time in Hawaii and each one was fabulous. This is one place where the wait is definitely worth it for both the food and the service.
My rating easily could have been a 4 or 5 except for terrible mismanagement and lack of apology or acknowledgement of their poor effort. Four people in our party. Three received their food. My daughter received bacon but not her waffles. We waited and asked a total of three times and we’re told the waffles were coming soon. Everyone else ate and a worker actually cleared my sons plate before the waffles finally came. No apology, no compensation or anything. My daughter found them on the internet and was the whole reason we went there. Extreme disappointment. Bad job by the waitress, the kitchen and management.
Aloha Kitchen is a nice little spot nestled in between a few larger buildings. The dining area was very airy with beautiful aromas breezing past & teasing your senses and your appetite! I had a meatlovers omelet with fresh spinach and mushroom and the breakfast potatoes and it was delicious!! Also, the ? mimosas are delightful!
This place has the best pancake I ever had in my life. During my vacation in Honolulu back in January 2022, this is one of the place I brunched at with my friends. There was an hour long wait to get seated, and it was worth it after having the food.I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Salmon and my friends and I also ordered the Coconut Souffle Pancake for all of us to share.I didn't exactly love the salmon but definitely loved the Coconut Souffle Pancake. That I wish Honolulu was close to me so I can go back and have it again whenever I want. >_
The breakfast here is as fresh and delicious as can be. My girl ordered the souffle pancake which was soft and delicious. I ordered the meat lovers omelet which was a legitimate omelet for meat lovers and it came with a side of the best country potatoes I have ever tried. They were crispy, yet fluffy at the same time. The POG juice was also very refreshing and delicious. The only improvement I would recommend for this restaurant is to up portion size of the country potatoes. Wasn't too much on my plate, but overall I'd highly recommend this restaurant for anybody with a good taste pallet. 5 out of 5 in my book as far as quality and taste. ?
