The roast pork is delicious. I've had Cantonese roast pork all over the world and this was definitely done right. Also tried the scallop poke which was delicious for shellfish fans.
Coming from Vancouver I thought our fish was good; the tuna at Alicia’s is on another level, the texture is to die for!
The super efficient woman at the window is a wonder making recommendations and taking orders with ease. The Roast Pork with Wasabi Masago Ahi and Smoked Onion Tako were excellent. What a great take-out lunch spot.
Excellent fresh poke. You can chose 2 different ones for your bowl. There are a lot of options to choose from. It’s ‘just’ the rice and your choice of protein but it’s soooo good. Potions are filling. Service is really quick and friendly and it looks like a lot of locals go there too. There is no eating area so we just ate in our car. There is 30 min free parking in front.
Amazing poke bowls! The rice is sweet, the poke is fresh and it's always the best kept secret in kalihi for poke.I'll have to remember to take a photo. They can do half and half too. It's a little weird eating a roast beef and poke bowl, but it works!
I was excited to try poke from Alicia’s, however was very disappointed with the food.Starting off, the amount of fish you get with the poke is good, but the presentation and the taste was bad. The poke itself, both spicy and soyu ahi first didn’t look very appetizing and the taste was VERY SALTY.Consistency of the fish was bit off as well. Normally, the fish cubes are soft and bouncy. The one I got from Alicia’s had a bit of a “frozen” consistently. I don’t care if the fish was previously frozen or not, but it didn’t feel right.Add together the salty fish and overly sweet sushi rice, the combo straight up made the poke inedible. If you ignore the blunt saltiness, I’d say the taste wasn’t any better either; ie: the “spicy” wasn’t spicy at all. Overall, no real flavor. Not good. For the price and how “popular” this place seems to be, i was very disappointed. The sad part was that I was really hungry, too. From now on I’ll try to stick to the places I know that sells good poke. Poke is too expensive to simply try new, random places. I’ll stick with my normal fill.
Absolutely delicious poke! We’re visiting from Australia and so glad we decided to stop by for lunch. Friendly staff who will happily help you with your order. Parking on site and the line moves really quickly. We will be back!
Quantity over quality. The greatest disappointment was that the poke is not fresh (frozen/processed). Quantity was crazy, we got more poke than rice. Not sure how this place has the same rating as Ono's Seafood - the latter is in a completely different league (but, to be fair, it's also like 3 times more expensive per ounce).

Alicia's Market is known for the fresh different poke they have! So many choices! They all taste really good. The market is closed now so it's just a little side-front store. If your in the area it's definitely a must-stop and try it out. The price is a little high but worth the price!
