We ordered tacos, burritos and a few extras. We had all beef and none of us liked it. The meat was very dry. We ordered at approximately 3pm. Sadly, I have to agree with the one star review. Giving three stars because the staff was nice and the order was correct. The beans, rice and horchata were better.We won't be returning.
Family was craving tacos and stumbled across this place by chance. It comes with some great dive bar feelings, but the food was incredible. We order chips and salsa, tacos, and a wet burrito (burrito smothered in enchilada sauce. Everything was great.We will definitely return in the future and bring friends and family here for an "off the beaten path" experience.
This is totally the place you would say don't judge a book by its cover. Kind people, great food, fair prices and cool atmosphere.Nachos are bomb and the cheese slaps.

Legit random spot in Kalihi with solid Mexican food. I originally heard about this place from a Japanese tourists hah. Food was great. There’s a couple chairs and tables outside, but most ordered were take out.
We finally went here this evening. My wife and I split a plate of 3 assorted tacos. All of them were excellent, though the Asada was my favorite. I expect this will become a regular for us.
The carne asada burrito was too good. Reminded me of home :) and then I passed out from a food coma. Thank you!!!
Amazing food at a cheap price. It's kind of hard to find just so take your time. It's a small little business next to a laundromat.
Easily the best Mexican food on the island! A lot more authentic than most places, and the food is delicious every time!! You can always judge a restaurant based on how good their vegetarian options are. A lot of places don’t season their food and rely on the meat and cheese to carry the dish. ALL of Alejandro’s food is flavorful - even the vegetarian options! The veggie bowl with avocado is my all-time fav.
Terrible Service!!!! Wanted to try the food but the owner did not want to serve us. She preferred to serve dogs (not service dogs) instead of an African American family with a child. We were seated and about to order when a couple of white Americans brought their dog and sat it in the chair next to us. The dog was just on the floor and now in a chair. It was not a service animal but the “manager” winked at them to lie and say it was. We saw you. So we had to leave. Unacceptable! The manager was a liar, showed racist tendencies and unprofessional. I also own a dog so that was not the issue.
