100% worth your time and money to go to this Luau. We had an amazing experience! The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and accomodating. The food was delicious and the show was beyond fantastic. It was a perfect balance of explaining the history of Hawaii while showcasing some incredibly talented performers. We would go again in a heartbeat!
Friendly service. Beautiful atmosphere. The first plate of food was excellent. The second was more oily, but still good , and probably cantered to the taste of mainland Americans. The show combines some Waikiki history with the usual hula and fire sword show. We all enjoyed it.

The meal was barely edible. I ate one thing from each tray. We had been warned and they were correct! Wish we knew b4 the 48hr cancel timeframe. The show was somewhat disappointing. Our waitress did not refill drinks during the show. We had 3 tickets for drinks but could not use them all bc she didnt come back! We agreed this entire experience felt like a scam. $200 per person!! I would not recommend and everykne we talked to felt the same. Avoid!
Went to a Lua and had so much fun
You could come to Hawaii and not learn anything about the place. Or you could dive headfirst into a deep and beautiful history, rich with stories and music and lore. This luau is a fantastic way to do that well.Incredible food and great drinks, and each course was traditional food. ThThey had a show that described the history of Hawaii, complete with music and dance. They explained the history of each item of the food.The luau is hosted in the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, so all accommodations are 5 stars. Food, drink, service, bathrooms, everything.One note: Google maps walking directions told us to enter from the beach—this is incorrect. You need to enter from the street, through the front desk of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.
Just an absolutely beautiful location. The family that puts this show on is wonderful. They make the experience exciting and fun. Lots to learn people of all ages. Food was out of this world so was the service!
My favorite experience on the whole island. Food was fantastic, drinks were great .. our server Grant was so attentive and just such a pleasure. The dancers and musicians were so incredibly talented and the whole experience was just so AMAZING and Special.
Wonderful experience in a beautiful setting at the royal Hawaiian resort.I highly recommend you do this at least once. Experience of a lifetime. Aloha!
