Being from Vancouver BC we love coffee and are always on the hunt for the acidic variety. We've gone to quite a few coffee shops during our stay in Waikiki and found 9Bar the best by a long shot.
Great coffee and food. Anything with their bacon is good. Always get the Aloha bowl or burrito. Baristas are awesome.

The iced ube latte was phenomenal!! I wanted something different since I was visiting Hawaii & this did not disappoint??It was tasty, you could taste the 2 shots of coffee in it & it was refreshing. Staff was very friendly & even gave me some recommendations while visiting here. I will come back here before my trip is over.
Great coffee. The hours here are incorrect. They close by noon sometimes, which is inconvenient.
My go-to coffee shot. Great friendly staff with awesome coffee. They have some talented baristas that can whip up anything you want from espresso to cordado to matcha latte. Even have dairy free options like oat milk.The scuffins are incredible and they are always making new combination like banana chocolate chip and everything scuffins.
I'll always recommend 9bar for absolutely everything--she has it all. food, coffee, bakes are all excellent. they have the beautiful craft of delicious all figured out. try the single origin and the house blend espresso on your next visit--both are exquisite.
