So we were in Hilo for 5 days... and we ate at Booch Bar for four of these days! Each dish we tried was absolutely delicious, the staff are all really friendly, and we are incredibly sad to be leaving Hilo as we won't be able to eat here again! Mahalo guys, keep serving awesome food!
Excellent prices for top-notch food and kombucha. The Booch Bar is a neat little niche spot in downtown Hilo. We love to stop by Saturday mornings while browsing the farmer's market. Their ginger turmeric Booch is next level.
Delicious food, great service, excellent drink options. Make sure to ask for their special hot sauces if you like it spicy!
Acceptable food that felt healthy. The kombucha flight was a good sampling. The lentil soup was tasty. The beet salad and the burger were also good, and the walnuts were candy.

This low key bar and restaurant was an enjoyable experience the times I stopped. They have good amount of breakfast options. Portions were quite large and filling. Staff were responsive and personable.
Amazingly flavorful and delicious food! Large portions, super fresh and high quality ingredients. Wanted to come back for dinner and lunch the next day! Everything was delicious (we had tacos, taco salad, soup and beet salad). Can’t recommend enough!! So good I forgot to take photos :)
Great casual restaurant with a nice vibe. The tempeh Reuben and BLTA are really interesting and tasty. Lots of kombucha’s to choose from. We went here twice during our short stay in Hilo.
