The sandwiches are really good! Good size portions too. Owner was really friendly. Had a little bit of a wait because we got there right when they opened. The owner hooked us up with some baklava. Delicious!
Good food, with covered seating area next to the food truck. Friendly staff. Took a little longer than expected for food to be prepared but it is understandable as there is only 1 person cooking and the other person is taking orders dealing with customers.
Today I had the blossom salad , it came with 2 huge falafels on top and soooo many yummy sauces and flavors ! Thank you for making delicious vegan food ! ????
Wonderful flavors!! It was a delight to my palate? Freshly prepared by Crystal..she is awesome ? Hang out outside or order from Door Dash Etc. or order ahead!!! Everything is freshly prepared !!!! so there is a slight wait.... But!! Good things come to those who wait ?❤️
The food is excellent (albeit a bit pricy) but the execution is shaky. I've never had the food be done at the pickup time, and once I showed up to pick up my online order and they hadn't noticed it so I had to wait another 45 minutes for them to make it. We've now taken to calling to confirm any online order and ask when it'll be done and even then I've always had to wait 10-15 minutes when showing up. I realize that it's a small place and that it's hard to juggle a bunch of customers in a food truck, but at this point we only order there if we know we have plenty of time for delays.
Very good food and friendly owners. We had a chicken kabob sandwhich, a fish salad, some rice, and baba. It does take a while for food, but its worth it. Tabaraka a food truck with a covered place to sit in the parking lot of an old building on the edge of downtown Hilo.
Decent food, but oh, THE WAIT.Perfect opportunity to schedule your annual dental exam or tax appointment as you’ll have PLENTY of time after placing your order. Don’t be fooled by the initial “30 minute” wait.Unfortunately no photos to share because we were starving and close to being late for our flight when we finally received our food after 50 minutes of waiting.
This is the third time I’ve waited 34 minutes for my food, after I waited 10 min for them to acknowledge me to take my order. The first two times I didn’t write a review, but this seems to be a common issue (at least every time I’ve been here) needless to say- I won’t be coming back. The food is excellent, but a little costly for the service, portions and ingredients. I’ve seen the responses of other reviews and the excuse the owner makes for the service and food preparation is not acceptable. I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants who prepare their food fresh and source local and there’s no reason it should take you 34 minutes to prepare such simple items. It’s obvious if multiple people are complaining about the same problem- you have an issue, so please don’t continue to make the same excuse, instead learn that you need improvement in this area and change it, because I’m not the first nor the last customer you will lose if things continue as they are.
The food tastes great! And I like the outdoor eating area that has a roof. Nice and cool in the shade while you eat. The person who took my order had an attitude, but I’m willing to overlook it because the food is really really really good
Seriously bomb food. I've been dreaming about it ever since I tried it. Nice little covered outdoor seating area. Friendly service. It's not fast food, It's a food truck with one chef working hard to fill multiple orders, if you're in a hurry, call ahead or do an online order!
