I've always gone through the drive thru, their worker speaks very clearly and is helpful everytime I forget how to say the coffee I order, it's a venti hot chai latte with two add shots and my Son just love their venti vanilla bean frappaccino.If I had to say something negative, it'd be their availability of their cake pops. When I go to a football game, I love to give my nephew and niece cake pops. Many a time over this has happened. But, that'll never stop me from having my venti hot chai latte with two add shots?
Love this location! All drinks and food I have purchased here are always delicious and fresh, and made exacfly the way I order!!! The staff are super friendly, they provide great service! Dont expect a quick stop here. Dine-In, Take-Out, especially drive thru, there is a bit of a wait. Unless it is your lucky day ?This is the only drive thru location in Hilo so it's usually steadily busy. To note: The staff really do get the orders out as quickly as they can!Little wait, but the coffee and crew is Great!If your looking to sit down and enjoy coffee with friends, share drinks over a short buisness meeting, or maybe a little reading break! This is definitely a great spot! With the in-house WIFI bring in your laptop, and get whatever you need done while you enjoy your beverage and or yummy snacks!
If you are working person or student who is accustomed to using Starbucks as a study / work space then this place isn’t for you. I came in and spent money at this establishment with the assumption that I could get some work done and charge my devices to sustain that. Ironically, they’ve covered every single outlet.To make matters more frustrating, I received a sandwich that was completely cold in the middle.This post does NOT reflect the attitudes of the employees as they were friendly, fast, and delightful.However with combination of cold food and lack of viable space to do some work, I won’t ever be returning.
No power outlets for working (they have covered them). Tatty and tacky. Gurl, just charge for power as that would be slightly less tacky. I left without spending so much as a single star. McStarbucks!
The best place to buy your favorite Starbuck's drinks, food, and in-store merchandise in Hilo. Staff is always welcoming.....though a little slow if you order ahead and pick up in-store. I would stick to the drive-thru. When the line of cars start to build up, they send out an employee to take orders....speeds things up.
I really appreciated this store it was the only Starbucks opened on Christmas day, and I really appreciated the staff and thank them and appreciate them all for working on Christmas
Drive thru is extremely slow. I mean you might as well bring a book and not plan on having to do anything for the next 45 minutes. Staff is friendly but drive thru needs some love.
Mega friendly staff, superlative coffee beverage (for a Starbucks). I had a triple espresso and an Impossible ™ Breakfast Sandwich. This location has adjusted to pandemic standards very well. Downside is there isn't much room to sit and some customers seem to be camping all day? ??♀️Drive-thru is a timesuck disaster. Just park and go in. Trust me.
The staff at the Starbucks are great. But they are very inconsistent when giving lattes. I do not think they are either giving the right shot amount of espresso or they are not changing the grounds in the espresso... either way the lattes are always super weak more weak than when they normally are even when I order an extra shot of espresso. it tastes like they only put in one shot or 2 shots So maybe somebody needs to teach them how to use the espresso maker. But again the staff are always very nice and very friendly.
Try the sugar cookie latte with oat milk, so good for the holiday season. Line is long, staff is friendly and the food and drinks are yummy!
