Went in for lunch with the family. Got a pepperoni pie and a bunch of wings. HIGHLY recommend the Lilikoi Habanero wings. I mean it when I say those were the best wings I've ever had!?? Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area
I didn’t take any pics as I was busy enjoying the food. My husband and I decided to try it out as we drove by and saw the sign. We were greeted with a friendly smile; because this was our first time, we ordered a bunch of things on the menu. We had 2 slices of the cheese pizza, Caesar salad, garlic Parmesan wings, Philly Cheesestake to go & for dessert a cannoli. Everything was onolicious but I really loved the Scicchitano Special. That vinaigrette was SUPERB. Owner is super friendly and I hope they stay in Hilo for a long time. If you haven’t tried them out, I definitely recommend.
I have personally worked with some of these talented chefs. And I’ve enjoyed the food they have made me. As someone who grew up in New York, this pizza reminds me of home. Don’t miss out. 5 stars
Went to get lunch, the pizza slice was very good, plus they have a nice selection of pizzas to choose a slice from. The Philly cheese steak was all wrong, very dry. To be fair though, I was raised near Philadelphia, and have been a chef most of my life. So my opinion may be slanted, but no sandwich should be that dry ever. Still, the pizza was great and I will go back and try some of there other items.
A rare good Italian style cuisine on the island. Friendly and fast service. Good to delicious food seasoned just right and baked just right. Not greasy like so many other similar joints. Pizza made to order has great dough. Been a while since we enjoyed pizza this much. Family friendly. Vegetarian friendly. Kids friendly. Dine in area is small but still feels spacious and aired well. Well done. We will be back.
Excited that a really good pizza place has come to Hilo. Every single time we've ordered, its been really good. Parmesans, pizzas, wings. Ono! Yes the crust is very thin. But hey! Less carbs! We like it.
Hands down best pizza place on big island. Wish I had a picture to show but it was too good! The people giving this place low ratings must be conditioned from eating too much pizza hut fake pizza. This place is the real deal. Perfect recipe. I hope they stay authentic and don’t change for the people giving it low ratings with no taste.
I was extremely disappointed in the quality of food I received from Scicchiyanos Pisseria. As a Hilo transplant of 5 years and a CIA graduate Private Chef the food I received was unacceptable. The "6 inch Philly cheese steak sandwich" was 4 inches at best, extremely greasy and had taco bell quality meat in the sandwich. I would have been better off going to subway paying $7 for a true 6 inch sub. $10 for a tiny sandwich is unacceptable. You have reconfirmed my mentality that I am better off just cooking at home.
Super yummy, fast and friendly. We ordered a sandwich, two pizzas and a caesar salad. I'd say it's been the best food we've had all week and it's been the least expensive.Thank you for the meal!!
Best Pizza on the Island hands down! Finally decided to give them a try today…only regret is that I didn’t start going there sooner. Delicious Authentic pizza! My new favorite place in Hilo town
