Nice place to get a good Drink and we had lunch it both we good and had a nice friendly waitress name Lindsay
This restaurant is a must if you are in Hilo. Service was excellent, food absolutely delicious. Will not be disappointed

We spotted another diner enjoying a drink served in a pineapple and decided to share one— it was so delicious we eventually got a second one. Best alcoholic drink of the trip. I had the teriyaki steak which was exceptionally tasty. Not just a sauce around it— the taste permeated the meat. It was fantastic. My daughter had a meal and my husband had the appetizer portion of furikake shrimp— the flavoring was delicious! We also had a caprese salad which had the most delicious tomatoes! Our waitress was fun and built a rapport with us immediately even though we came in sort of close to closing. She was a breath of fresh air. By the way this restaurant had a nice open air atmosphere and a live musician, whose guitar skills were exceptional.
The setting and service were great. Located in downtown Hilo, this open air restaurant had a great island vibe. We waited about 50 minutes for a table of a Saturday night. I ordered the fish and chips (see pic) and it was pretty good. The fries were not fresh but the fish was decent. I liked the mango slaw that came with it. My husband got Pineapple Teriyaki Flank steak (pic) which was amazing! Moist and full of flavor! My teenager got the Pineapple Burger which she devoured! I tried a bite and wish I had gotten it. If you are in the area, it’s worth a try!
I went on a Friday night and the place was packed. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the live music. I started with the onion soup which hit the spot. Then I had the Poke Tower which was super fresh and flavorful. The specialty drink in the pineapple was a bit pricey but worth it! Overall great vibe and energy. The bar staff was slammed but still gave great service.
Wow! This was a very enjoyable! The food, drinks and service was incredible! We may go back this same trip. The prices were also very reasonable.
Quality food, nice variety, I would not order an appetizer and the meals at the same time. Quick delivery had it all come out at once.
I've been in the restaurant industry for 9 years and have worked on Maui for 4 years (front street). I went to this restaurant with my family based on the reviews. It took Hua 13 minutes to even greet our table (with no apology to follow up the delay). We got the coffee we ordered immediately, and our other drinks (diet coke, unsweetened ice tea, palakana sweet tea) took an additional 15 minutes to get. I got up from the table to ask to get the non-alcoholic drinks after 10 minutes and had to interrupt her an another staff member chatting and laughing off to the side of the bar. The kitchen did great with getting with getting everything out. The food was mediocre, the best being the caprese. Not once did Hua come to check on us after we received our food. After which she was in such a rush to cash out and go home that she handed off the table to lovely Reagan with out saying goodbye or any indication that she was transferring the table (did a manager sign off on this?). I understand being under staff, transferring tables, and waiting on the bar...however those issues are all in the delivery of the server. The behavior was extremely unprofessional with Hua and not becoming of the restaurant's brand. The server sets the tone for the dining experience, fortunately for us the last third of our mean was beautiful executed by Reagan. Ask for Reagan she will take care of you, she's delightful and attentive.
Best fish 'n chips on the island. Shared a flight of mai-tai's, and pineapple slices were delicious. Steady flow of customers kept the place crowded all Friday afternoon, so be patient with wait staff. Enjoyed open-air seating.
