Best breakfast I’ve had on Big Island! Thank you for letting us dine in with you! The smoked salmon on eggs Benedict was delicious!
Supremely good food, extremely friendly and helpful owners, charming and cozy space with lovely plants, windows, art…such a treat! Paul explained each breakfast dish to us in such a loving and detailed way, and Megan helped make us feel right at home. Highly highly recommend!!! Do make a reservation - they’re required. And they book up!
We were so lucky to find this place. Just a very small place on a side street but so good. I had their BLT and it was amazing! The owner, whois also the chef, was so nice. Can’t wait to go back.
The best food & the best service in Hilo! Went to Paul’s place for the first time today celebrating my husbands birthday. The owner Paul came out personally & took our order, explained the different menu items, we could see him cooking from our seats! The food is fresh & delicious… best eggs Benedict I ever had, hands down best Belgian waffles on the planet, & finally a place that cooks the bacon perfectly!!! This place is worth every penny! Talk about quality food!!! Not only was the food absolutely AMAZING but so was the service. Best dining experience ever!!!
We arrived at 7:45 am on a Saturday. There are only 3 tables and you need a reservation 3 months in advance!! Not sure this should be listed as a restaurant but perhaps more of a family’s dining room?
The food is amazing. If you're looking for a gourmet experience for breakfast in Hilo, this is it! You have to make reservations because seating is limited.
Okay I didn’t actually eat here but I walked in thinking I’d be able to grab breakfast or coffee to go. Anyways, a gentleman (Paul?) pointed out to me the best coffee in the market (red tent) & indeed it was. Super friendly place. I noticed him helping a couple perhaps in a similar situation to me a minute prior. Look forward to eating here someday, after I do better research ;)
By appointment only. Worth every penny you spend there. Paul is the owner and he always there. Food is amazing quality and taste. Never tried so delicious breakfast before ( don't tell my wife )
Hands down, the best breakfast/brunch spot on the island. Detail-orientated, friendly professional service, personable experience, and the foods…:) just thinking about them makes me happy. If you have a chance, got to stop by and hang out with Paul and Megan.
Paul is wonderful, very kind and talented! This is definitely the best breakfast I’ve had. The Eggs Benedict was delicious and portions are perfectly sized. It’s a popular restaurant with limited seating so make a reservation ahead of time!
