Friendly atmosphere ❤️place is easy to locate, good eats!

The food was delicious but we waited more than 30min for a waiter to take our orders.

Love love this restaurant. Being Japanese & where I live there is no great Japanese food. Bento boxes give you plenty of food. Tempura Zuru was awesome. Service is very good. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing food! Amazing service, everyone of the staff I’ve met have been super helpful. They have 3 separate dining experiences at Miyos (IG: Miyoshilo) . My family, friends and I have done 2.They recently reopened Izakaya Miyos (IG: @izakayamiyo) it’s more personal and semi private. Went here a few times and everyone loved the food and had a great time. They have new drinks that will definitely make you want to try. Even if it’s a nonalcoholic version, they are still great!

Miyo was fun! Bentos were tasty, saba and salmon are great broiled. Cocktails are also super tasty like pear whisky.

there's a new bar area. fun drinks and delicious pupus! be sure to try the brussel sprouts and the sashimi.

I was very excited to eat here. Then I was very disappointed once I tasted the food. Japanese food is made with incredible flavor. This food however was something anyone could whip up at home and not worthy of a dining experience. They hit all the bases when it comes to side and the right combinations. Then strike out in the most important part when it comes to food FLAVOR. The price doesn't match the quality. If they are going to have a restaurant charging that much they need a proper chef with experience in making better tasting more authentic food. Overall good service.

Restaurant says it closes at 8pm. We arrived at 7:48pm and were told kitchen had already closed. Many tables still waiting for food. Shame they turn away customers to get home early.

Was looking forward to eating at this place, recommended by a local guide but unfortunately it was not a good experience for us. It's called an izakaya but was nothing like it. We had a reservation that was accommodated on time, but our food arrived an hour after. The beer I ordered was not accompanied by any snacks or even peanuts. The miso soup was served 30 minutes before the bento. The bento arrived and it was SAD. The Saba that was broiled was charred and unseasoned. No salt. No taste. The tempura was cold and oily. My husband's sesame chicken tasted "old" like it was reheated and then dressed. The only thing good on our bento was the ahi which on its own tasted well because it just needed to be cut up. Even the daikon oroshi tasted weird. We are heading to Teshima's for REAL Japanese comfort food to erase the charred remnants of our Saba from our tastebuds.

Food was okay, but didn't get what I ordered. The chicken tasted good but it wasn't pork. Plus two plates were late. Was offered some free dessert, lilko'i ice cream. It had a unique taste. Not overly sweet, almost savory.
