I feel like kicking myself, but google would probably ban me for inciting violence against myself. Still, I broke my cardinal vacation rule for dining... I actually patronized a McDonald's! I've been telling my wife and daughter that when we travel somewhere "special," we're eating like the locals. That there's no way in hell we would be going to McDonald's in Italy or KFC in Vietnam, for example. Okay, Hawaii is still the USA, so maybe I can cut myself some slack this one time. This was more a trip for my wife and Princess Kiana anyway, and I guess they're not acclimated to a steady diet of spam musubi, poi and lau lau. I just needed my Hanalei Island IPAs and I was good to go!It's a typical McDonald's. We got a Happy Meal for the princess, and I did steal a couple fries while the wife was wandering about Walmart. Basically average.

Order a Local Deluxe Platter, Egg McMuffin, Dr Pepper and a Hi-C. The food was good but both drinks were horrible we ended up pouring both of them out. The pickup process was quick and friendly. This location is currently counter pick up only.
