We got big island love (strawberries) and the lava flow. Delicious shave ice! Real fruit syrups. They’re environmentally friendly too.
1st of two shaved ice places we visited in Hilo. They used vanilla bean ice cream compared to plain vanilla which made all the difference.Expensive for shaved ice but it was so humid and worth it just to experience it.
We were shopping at the Hilo Farmers market and decided to chk it out. Super friendly & helpful service and we loved the shaved ice! Wish I could find a spot like this in nyc! The coconut cream was 10/10!

We came here to reward the kids with some shave ice after enduring some long drives and hikes. The syrups actually taste like the fruit instead of the artificial flavors and are not overly sweet. Blueberry was surprisingly my favorite besides my go to guava. Lilikoi and strawberry were both on the tart side but still delicious.
What a fun little shave ice shop. We tried several of the different varieties. They were all delicious. I think the chocolate one took the reward for best flavor, and the lava flow was best in show. All of them were quite pleasing though.I've been to fancier shave ice joints (there are a few Kona side that are really over the top and rather expensive) but the price was right, and the topping selection included ube (mashed purple sweet potato, if you are uninitiated) and several kinda of condensed milks and fresh fruits. You could easily build your own halu halu here even though it isn't listed outright on the menu.Highly recommended. Great way to beat the heat after touring the farmers market.
We ordered the Local which had flovors of Soursop and Lilikoi topped with Haupia cream with some poi at the bottom. Refreshing flavors.The other one we ordered was the Big Island Love that that papaya pieces with coconut and lime flavors and a generous amount of condensed coconut milk on the top.Loved it!
My 5 stars shaved ice spot in hawaii !!Soft powdery ice with not just simple coloured syrups but real fruit and flavours. One outpost on Hilo Big Island and the other on Haleiwa Oahu (skip the line at Matsumoto and come here instead)
Really enjoyed the local!
