A nice spot in Hilo for our last dinner on our Hawaiian vacation. I had the Seafood Trio. Not only pretty to look at but quite tasty too. Although not a huge portion it was plenty for me. And another chance to have some of the delicious Hawaiin purple sweet potatoes, mashed no less. A shout out to our server, Landon, for impeccable (and friendly) service.

Wonderful establishment. Great food (I had the chicken and shrimp pasta, and the SO the chicken risotto). Bonus... We ate on Wino Wednesday, so we only paid half price for a fantastic red blend. Jessie was our waitress and she was amazing. Highly recommend!

The best clam chowder I have ever had in my life hands down. The photo is not of the clam chowder but cheese and spinach stuffed ravioli which was also very good.

This is a nice place to eat in Hilo. We had good service and good food (a steak and two seafood dishes). Everything was well prepared and very tasty.

The food and service were great! Two of us shared the starter and entree: Pupu platter and seafood trio. We finished with the cheesecake!!

Really Blah! You expect this to be a 5 star and it’s just not. Chef this night gets a “1”. Yuck! As other REAL reviews report, the food is terrible. Fish is all cooked to be early I the day and HELD until plated. HARD as a rock me tasteless. We asked for special plate of freshly cooked fish and vegetables only. We were told “ No - Chef will suggest …….. and then we have to accept one of the boring pre-plated “stacks” which this place seems to think is cool. Pass this up fast! Staff was very pleasant and the atmosphere is 4+. Bet the OWNER wonder why they aren’t getting more than one table turn a night. I know why……….

Enjoyed our evening at Jackie Rey's in Hilo. A little on the pricier side of our typical travel budget, but the food was delicious and so worth it! Service was excellent. Especially enjoyed the Lilikoi Martini (still thinking about that!). This is a pretty busy place, so make sure you get reservations in advance. Highly recommend!

We went to eat at Jackie Ray’s in Hilo after being highly recommended by the concierge at our resort. We were a group of 6 and we all loved our meals. Our waitress, Jahnavi, made recommendations and answered our questions about various dishes and drinks. She was a fantastic server! The fish was delicious and so fresh!!! We’ll definitely go back when we return to Hilo some day.

The server Jessie was a gem and the space was lovely. I had the ahi tartare and chicken and shrimp angel hair pasta both of which were very yummy. My partner had the baby back ribs and loved them. I loved his chips.

We made a 7:30 reservation for 7 same day on a Monday and got a separate room. Service was prompt and attentive throughout the evening. Our party ordered seafood trio, guava barbecue ribs, steak special, the pasta and everyone loved their meals. Nice variety of options and great tasting meals.
