Great little spot in Hilo for a beer and a bite. We stopped in here on a driving tour around the north part of the Island. Jordan on the bar is a very personable host and made us feel right at home, even going so far to ask our names (and I'm sure he would remember us if we make it back that way). The beer was cold and the burgers were great. Oh, and they have the best fries!

Open after 2pm (lots of places are understaffed and aren’t!). This place has changed since the review of being “dirty” and “unfriendly”— the two waiters and owner were there. They cared about each other and their guests. They catered to our families needs (aged 9-78) and an adjacent party that was drinking shots and beer for a honeymoon party. The food was among the best we had— the burgers perfectly cooked, the menu varied enough for the plain eaters (chicken tenders and fries), the clean eaters (amazing salad that was so fresh), and everything in between. Check out the nachos— huge and delicious. We’d return again the next time in Hilo.
Nice ambience outside with locals and musicians drinking, chatting, eating. Service was a touch laid back which some may like and others not, it was slow given how busy they were at the time but gracious. The food was good, more than adequate if not extraordinary --as one might expect of decent bar food. The prices were good and the hours excellent for the area. I conversed with artists and would return for live music.
Food was excellent and so was our service by Katie and Will!!! Found out they have Karaoke on Wednesday and Thursday nights, starts at 8pm. Also open mic night on Monday!! We will definitely come back!
This place gave us the best experience that we had in Hilo, all of the Restaurants around close early so bars seem to be the only choice past 9. Friendly and fun and good atmosphere. The BBQ ribs did not disappoint and the chicken strips were literally the best I have ever tasted. Apparently dog friendly and the music they had was upbeat and made for such a great night.
Great local spot! Some kind of live music/karaoke/open mic happens basically every week, check the schedule to be sure. Good burgers and beer at a reasonable price.There is also a small art show room in the back corner that opens around 5/6PM that displays awesome local art. Don't forget to check it out and support local artists!!
Nachos were mediocre and service wasn't very good either. You do get a huge plate of nachos for a very reasonable price. Maybe we just picked a bad meat option but it wasn't the best tasting.
Best burgers in the Island as far as I’ve had. Sort of a local place tourist and locals alike here. Sure beats some other places. Friendly and attentive staff, great beer and slushy cocktails. If I come back to Hilo, I will come back here. Go check it for yours self. (Looks like it is a good night spot too. I was here for lunch but they have a stage and outdoor patio party spot).
We only drank at the bar but was so nice that we are putting up a review. Although we arrived before opening they said come in and take a seat. Anne's mango Margarita was the best she's had in a long time and my second drink a cognac was the largest I've had in a long time. The real success was how welcoming Jordan was and after a while an eccentric academic came and also sat at the bar and we chatted for over an hour. All very enjoyable. Good value for money.
