A fun and delicious way to spend dinner. I would always recommend that you stay for the bullet train delivery. A very unique experience.
My very first time at this restaurant. It was a clean, busy place. Fast prep time food portions were of 4 pieces for sushi roll and it had good flavors. The costumer service was very good.
First of all when we ordered our wasabi they gave us their miso soup bowls because they didn’t have any wasabi plates. Then we order 4 spicy tuna temakis and those were all half the size of the normal. Besides that the servers were nice and even gave us a good discount.
The sushi is okay, It's a chain after all so that's to be expected. The wait times for a table are ridiculous and you cannot make reservations. Sometimes when you try to call for a take-out the phone line is constantly busy? Previous the service when dining in was terrible but on our last visit the service was great so maybe they are improving that aspect. They do have some stupid rules, one of which your party can not be seated until everyone dining is present, which if only 1 person is there and your waiting for everyone else to show then you'd be hanging up a table for long then necessary but if you have a party of 4 and 1 person is not there the other 3 cannot sit and start to order. They will give your position to the next waiting. The explanation was; that's how it is in Japan. News flash, this ain't Japan. We will probably be avoiding this place as much as possible and patronizing locally owned places instead. After all, we only go here because the kids like the Sushi train.
Dont expect to grt seated if your company isnt there yet. I literally had to sit outside and wait for my friend instead of being sat at a table and being able to go ahead order while I waited for them to arrive. A bit pricey and trains look like they good use a good scrubbing or be replaced. always out of chicken cutlet if you want something other than sushi. ...it's just okay
Overall okay experience. The sushi is good but the only issue is the extreme wait times. I put in a mobile order at 5, didn’t get my order till 8:30.I will give it to them they look under staffed but realistically what I ordered probably shouldnt have had taken three and a half hours.Lastly there was unfortunately some plastic in our rolls, a little off putting given the Pandemic but we just tossed those out.Average wait time for dine in is about 1 hour regardless of time
Love it... But they could dim the overhead lighting a bit more at dinner time.
DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give them zero stars I would. They served us raw chicken katsu. When we told our server about it she apologized and told us that she never eats their chicken katsu because they get a lot of complaints about it being cooked wrong. We told another server about it so we could get it removed from our bill and he explained how they cook the chicken in sake before frying it. He said that the cooks don’t want to over cook the chicken because it was already in sake so they set a short timer. This place should not be serving food to the public. We left mid meal and went to Mcdonald’s.
Love it but hurry up and get ready to wait. A really really long time.Ordered online for pickup at 450pm on a Monday. It took 2 plus hours waiting to make my order which was only 4 small items. This is about average. Find something to entertain yourself and you’ll be fine. Contrary to belief , staring down diners through the window does not make them eat faster and leave. Lol Is it worth it? Well yeah!!! 5 stars for hiring a couple more sushi chefs!! ????????
Great service and innovative ordering and delivery. Sushi was average a bit on the thin sliced side and over chilled
