Went about a week ago when I was on my trip, Jocelyn made our experience so wonderful! The açaí was sooo good that I went to the location at Waikiki near our hotel on our last day (still delicious). Such a cute spot to take pictures also. Can’t wait to come back again when I come back to Oahu?
This place just makes you feel happy.Their yogurt was very good & we enjoyed walking around the shop. They have bully proof coffee here which as expected, doesn’t taste great. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re drinking it just for the caffiene.
Cute, clean place. Lots of chickens! Only downside is parking availability and accessibility. Other than that, their Açaí bowl was pretty solid.
Very long wait, they were very busy. People were super nice. Food was excellent. Wife had the Monkey Smoothie with Whey, I had the Tropical bowl....both really good
This was our daily go to for breakfast! Amazing Açai Bowls (Monkey Bowl is the best!) and bullet coffee. Great vibe... loved it. This was the closet we could get to a Bondi / Byron Bay (AUS) atmosphere and good coffee and healthy food.
Try bullet coffee, for the first sip, it is like you accidentally drink from an oil jar, and straight after you taste the real flavor which I love it. It is better to get before hiking or surfing for an energy boost. We also tried a couple of bowls and all was delicious.
Tasty Bowls and great smoothies. The exterior is very nice. The view of mountains is very pleasing to stare at while eating. They have a good size selection, but there is a little but of a wait. Parking is also limited but thats because it's by a beach on the north side.
TL;DR skip the coffee and just get the Açaí bowl.We heard a lot about bullet coffee so decided to give this place a shot. We got Golden bullet And dirty chai bullet and for us and both were disappointing. Golden bullet had way too much turmeric in it and it felt like the ingredients weren’t mixing well with each other. Dirty chai was also something we wouldn’t buy again.The Açaí bowl we got was as decent.
The bowls there are honestly so fresh and taste amazing. I have the tropical bowl and it was one of the best I've ever had.
I know of many verified tiktok stars that have gone here. I knew I had to try it as well. The spot was easy to find and I love what the sunrise shack is doing for its community. I loved my exceptional açaí bowl but it wasn’t the best one I had while in Hawaii. Still 9/10 on flavor and portion size. I wish for the sunrise to expand on physical size and social media. Not too many tourists know of this place and I think more would come if you reevaluated how you take your part in the social media realm.
