This place was so amazing that we had to eat here twice, we never do that on vacation! Crunchy tacos are absolutely amazing. Chips and Guac, so so good!! Horchata is a must too!! Fun and relaxing atmosphere too!
Best tacos on the island by far. This place has a neat little atmosphere. It’s located in one of those food truck parking lots (sometimes they are charging for $2 for parking but not always). They have a nice little seating area behind the truck. But the tacos…the tacos were excellent. So good that we came back again a couple days later. Order the crispy tacos! I have had chicken, pork, shredded beef, and fish. All were amazing!
Taco Tuesday was AMAZING! I loved the system they had (you ordered either street tacos or from the restaurant) and if you got the taco tuesday special you went to another line and got your tacos immediately. Otherwise you go sit down, listen to music and your food will come out in about 20 minutes. Great vibes and even better food! Get their crispy tacos too
This is hands down the best food we’ve had on the island! So much flavor in every bite. My husband and I both got one steak and one chicken crunchy tacos. If we both weren’t full after two we both could’ve easily had more. The salsa verde has a bit of kick to it, which I love, so the chips and salsa was equally enjoyed. Surf n’ Salsa is a must try!
The food was great! Bomb from the salsas to the entrees. Real hand made home made food. The outdoor seating vibes were great, we even got to enjoy some local live music. About 4 to 5 other food vendors in the parking lot so theres something for everyone. Only thing I'd like to point out, for the ladies and children, the only restroom on site is a portapotty. Definitely not a knock on this place, just a heads up. Will definitely be eating here again.
I have eaten here before with no issue, the food is great, the best Mexican food on Oahu. However, today the cashier was super rude/short and couldn't be bothered to answer a simple question like how does the burrito bowl work. I didn't catch the cashier's name but she was a white female wearing a blue tank top. We were there on April 14, 2022 at around 2:30pm. Again, great food, but the experience is kind of ruined when the staff can't provide common courtesy.
Tried the ranchero and California burritos - both were very good, except the California was missing the fries. It was still tasty and a very large burrito for the price. I wish I had been able to finish it, but could only eat half of it because it was a huge portion. The truck is also parked near other food trucks if someone in your group is craving something different!
Fresh, delicious food ? Only negative is they are closed on Sundays… would recommend staying open through the weekend to accommodate tourist hot spot and locals who can only get out to North Shore on the weekend.
Delicious crunchy shell & seafood tacos (shrimp, catch of the day)! Great patio seating options.Parking cost $2 at this location for all the food trucks fyi & no alcohol. Can’t wait to go back here!
Amazing service and DELICIOUS food!!! The employees are great and the seating area is super cute. Burritos are amazing and shrimp tacos are incredible! 100% recommend! Service is super fast!
