Awesome food and service. We definitely recommend this place for family and enjoying food on the terrasse. Thank you so much.
Great food and the prices were great! Loved Salmon and noodles, vegetarian burgers for, and delicious poke appetizer.
The restaurant is really bright, and cheerful. The service was excellent, although we weren't in a hurry. I had crab cake salad and it was wonderful. Had my sister from the mainland with me and she enjoyed the place as well.
I don't give out many 5 star reviews but this one was worth it. The environment was pleasant, bright, comfortable and trendy. Jon brought waters to the table, and kept them full the entire time (the little things matter). The food was insane, "phone eats first" kind of presentation and lick the plate kind of taste. Apps came out quickly with our palomas (great price for cocktails $10) and it gave us enough time to enjoy them while waiting on the entrees. Jon never let us sit with a pile of dirty dishes and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. I always ding restaurants when giving reviews because waiters often forget to check in once the customer has finished their meal, however Jon was attentive and we were not waiting on a check and didn't feel smothered by him either. Overall, my experience here was wonderful and I will be returning!
We were looking for a good place to eat in Haleiwa. A couple of places that were recommended quoted us a 1.5 hour wait for a table. As we were driving down the street my wife spotted this place and we found that they only had a 20 minute wait. I am not sure why as our experience was excellent! The service was top notch, from the host to our server. They did a great job. The clam chowder was extremely good. Our meals were delicious, in fact we ended up sharing much of our food with each other as it was super tasty. Really it was one of my best dining experiences. Highly recommend!
Family vacation to Oahu, February '22. We found ourselves in Haleiwa. A day long excursion, we spent the majority of our time at Waimea Bay. After the sun went down, my wife, daughter, her bf and I didn't really want to drive back to Waikiki and wait an hour to eat. We found Stonefish Grill on Google maps. It was an AWESOME find. Barely any wait time to be seated, and it was evening, so to be sat that quickly was pleasing. The server was super cool. I struck up conversations with the guy every time he came by. I understood he had work to do, but he was very cool. The food was very tasty. The service was efficient. I do not remember waiting very long for our food to be served. Very clean establishment. Not too heavy on the wallet, but food this good shouldn't be cheap either. We started with some crispy, fried calimari. Tubes and tentacles fried to a crisp perfection. I had the 808 Crafted Burger. It is a house chuck burger served with relish, and I added avocado and bacon. You get some house fries served with it. The wife and I split a dessert. It was amazing. This is a HARD RECOMMEND. You will love it.
Walked in with low expectations, left smiling and happy! So my partner and I were wandering around the north shore with our newborn in tow, unsure of where to eat for a late lunch, and settled on Stonefish Grill on a whim.So glad we did!I had the Calamari with Cheesesteak entree, she had the chowder with crab cakes, both meals hit the spot and really satisfied.Drinks were so good, we ordered seconds!Aside from it being cool & comfy inside, and our baby being welcome, was the sevice; staff were great, especially our young waitress who was amazing.Stop reading this and visit here already!
I stopped here for lunch after a shark dive tour and they did not disappoint! I had to be back on my shuttle so a quick grilled Ono(popular fish on the island) sandwich and fries with a few mai tais did the job for me! Great staff as well, so friendly in this small town!
Very friendly service, but getting the food took a while. Nice interior and lots of outdoor seating. Kids menu is available. Tried the loco moco, the smaller size was quite filling for lunch. Tasted great! Interesting cut for the fries! The heart attack fries are the Hawaiin version of poutine!Features: Masks
Don't waste your money or time! After countless times in Haleiwa, we wanted to try something new. We stopped for lunch in March 2022 at the recommendation of a local. Worst decision. We were seated outside under an umbrella promptly, drinks were served. It went downhill from there. We ordered our food and waited an over an hour with the waitress never even checking on us. During this hour, there was a massive downpour of rain. Other waiters escorted their guests inside, we stood huddled under the table umbrella trying to get our waitress' attention. She never once came to update us on the food order. I finally went inside and grabbed a manager and asked if we could come inside as the rain wasn't letting up. Food came after 1.5 hours and order was wrong. Horrible fish burger and salad. Served someone else's poke and rice? Had to literally walk into the kitchen to see if my kids could get ketchup and salad dressing for a salad? What should have been an "hourish" dining experience turned into over two hours of a wasted afternoon. If someone would have acknowledged our existence (as to why food was taking so long), I probably would have been okay with it. Manager ended up comping the 2 alcoholic drinks without my asking. The best part of the experience is watching the roosters walk around outside.
