We passed by this place on our first pass of looking for something both omni and vegan friendly bc the only menu displayed on the front side were the specials and it wasn't obvious that meals could be veganized. On our pass the second time, the ever so friendly Jenny mentioned that their regular menu was posted on a side window and that they had plenty of vegan offerings so we decided to try it and the meals were worth every penny. Jenny was fabulous in pointing out out how our meals could be customized for vegan and spice level preferences. I had the chili basil stir-fry and my hubs had the pineapple curry and both were amazingly flavorful and satisfying. I loved how Jenny's face lit up when she recommended the coconut rice and the fried banana dessert, also offering to place the ice cream on the side so I could take part in sharing the banana portion. If we ever make it back to North Shore we will absolutely be dining here again.

This is a fantastic Thai food spot in Haliewa area just next to Matsumoto Shave ice. The menu suits both meat lovers, vegan and vegetarian. Based on your choice they customize the dish for you. If you have dietary restrictions, feel free to ask them. Our server Jenny was pleasant and made us comfortable throughout. You also have the choice to choose your spicy levels from mild to the spiciest, which is great. We returned back again two days later and still felt their awesome service and food. Overall, a must visit in your Hawaii trip if you plan to go to the famous shave ice store.

The review kind of says it all. Very nice place to get dinner while driving around the island. We enjoyed the Pad Thai and spring rolls. Would not hesitate to come here again.

Cute little place. Came in for lunch. The spring rolls were a little disappointing as it had absolutely no salt and lacked any flavor but the chicken Thai fried rice was good.

This Thai location is currently only open for takeout but its a great price and delicious. There's picnic tables to enjoy your food at. We got the chicken pad Thai and shrimp pineapple fried rice.

I thought it was very good. Recommended by a friend. Nice, friendly service. Wait seemed a little long but everyone is a little stretched on employees these days. But I tried the spring rolls, drunken noodles. They were both top notch. No complaintsThen I had the off menu red curry with shrimp. Delicious!Kind of a smaller restaurant but it was great food. I’d go back anytime I’m there. Way good. I felt satisfied and the portions seemed great to me. Great presentation of food as well :)

Country pad Thai potentially best pad Thai I’ve ever had! Great, friendly service and outstanding food, good vibes inside for dinner. Was blown away!!

The food here is excellent. I had the chilli basil and almost went back to order another round. Very good food. I had it prepared gluten free and they were happy to accommodate.

I agree with the other mentions... Food is AMAZING but unfortunately we don't want to be frequenters just because of the overall experience with the wait time and classless automatic gratuity. We tried coming twice and it is obvious that it's just how they operate. We ordered two entrees (panang curry with coconut rice and pad see ewe) and two drinks. Total was over $47! Drinks are $3 for a can alone, plus $7 added automatic gratuity (18%). We are great tippers regularly, but with takeout, it should never be expected that we eat the cost of the "covid maintenance". And it's not fair to customers to be pressured, even if it's "optional" as was responded to another review. It's simply classless. And heads up, both times the wait was INSANE. We figured since we were coming when there was hardly anyone that our second experience wouldn't be as long. They told us 20-25 minutes. It was more like 35-40 even though there was hardly anyone there.Overall the feeling is that they will do what they want and you just have to go along with it, despite the underwhelming service. Bummer because we come this way often and I will always crave that coconut rice and panang curry. Not worth the frustrating experience anymore.
