A variety of cuisines are available at the Haleiwa Food Truck located at the old Haleiwa Town Center including Mexican, burgers, Korean BBQ, Thai and shrimp. We all like Thai food so we chose the Malai Thai Food Truck tucked in near the Korean BBQ. We all ordered the Pad Thai: two with tofu and one with chicken. I asked for extra spicy, but it proved to be on the mild side for me. The papaya salad was different than what we are accustomed to in Virginia. The salad was served with a piece of cabbage on the side. The cost was approximately $12.00 each for the Pad Thai and under $10 for the salad. All in my party said the Pad Thai was okay. There are two menus on the outside of the park as well as a chalkboard showing the cost of items with various protein added. There are covered picnic tables if you choose to eat there.
Great spot for a quick and casual tai food. It is like a food truck with outdoor seating only or take out. No dine in option.
Great pad thai, summer rolls and papaya salad. Large portion sizes and they will set the spice to your choice which is nice. Highly recommend!
WOW, this food was amazing!!!! Prepare for super hot, fresh, and extremely tasty food! One of the best Thai places I've ever been!
My wife wasn't in the mood for Shrimp that day, so she opted for Malai Thai. It did take quite a while for her food to be ready, but it was really good when it did come out. The Pud See Ew was one of the better ones I've tried.
Delicious food and fast service
Best Thai food on NS. Pad kee mao is amazing.
Absolutely amazing! We've been to Thailand before and this tastes just like there, meaning it's delicious. We've had the Cashew Stir Fry and Green Curry, both were excellent.
So good came twice in two days! Friendly too! :-)Much better than other spot north.
Drove here from Waikiki because I was tired of tourist food. This place hit the spot! Absolutely loved the cashew nut chicken. Didn't really love the Thai iced tea, but that's alright, still highly recommend this spot ☺
