Came bc of the good reviews but I guess I ordered the wrong item? Everyone seems to like the island latte but I found it had no coffee/espresso taste. Just tasted like a cup of hot steamed nut milk. Not satisfying.
Great spot! The food and coffee were all excellent. Food was fresh, great quality, very tasty, and we'll portioned. I got the local style breakfast plate and everything on it was delicious. My husband got the lox bagel sandwich, which was also fantastic. Service was friendly. Their indoor seating was closed, but they have a few small outdoor tables on the lanai and there are picnic tables in the common area shared among the shops. Yes, you may encounter birds and chickens, but it's Haleiwa, so don't knock this business for that. We weren't personally bothered by any here.
Excellent iced coffee and egg, avocado bagel and salad. Can't eat inside, deck has chickens and birds that were annoying
Short staffed, not gonna lie. The one barista was holding the place down! Mad props! Coffee was on point - delicious and aromatic. My off-menu breakfast sandwich order was easily processed and tasted great!
The staff is super sweet, friendly, & helpful in choosing your food & drinks. We orded the frozen Vintage Kona Mocha coffee, Lava Mocha coffee, one of the acai bowls (my favorite thing in Hawaii to eat), & the Lox of Bagel (smoked [raw?] Salmon, spinach, onion sprouts, tomato). The bagel itself is to die for, & the coffee is our favorite around here so far? We are coming back for more breakfast for sure.
The coffee and food here is phenomenal. Definitely worth the money.
The smoothies were from this cute little truck were amazing. We got 5 smoothies to share and loved the green room and the island fresh as a unique and refreshing flavor. The owner was very friendly and helpful making this a worthy stop!
IVC food and coffee really tastes good, and as locals we dont mind driving all the way to Northshore to get a taste of food, but Imust say that this store’s quality of food and service (except for the staff at the counter) has been inconsistent and getting bad. Went today and decided to just do ‘take out’ due to long line and there was no area to stay, only to find my breakfast plate, to have this super burnt walnut bread. Spoke with Kim, Manager of store, over the phone to just let them know, but she sounded like she doesnt care, even justified that the bread should really be ‘toasted’, this way? Not coming back again in this store.
We came here for lunch after visiting north shore. The drinks are great! Especially the banana Kona mocha drink. I got the açaí bowl which was one of the best I’ve ever had. We ended up visiting another location near the resort we stayed at later in the week since we liked it so much.
I got the original acai bowl and it was tasty and refreshing, but I feel like the portion they gave me was quite small (acai filled just under half the bowl) and I didn't get strawberries in mine, even though it's included in the original :(
