Ice is very coarse. Definitely not smooth or sweet earning 1 star.
Delicious shave ice served by the nicest people around. We got an extra special Father’s Day treat just at closing time. Can’t say enough nice things.
We purchased 5 shaved ices from here. When we received the 1st 2 there was only syrup up top. It was literally white ice on bottom half. The 3rd and 4th ones we did ask to add more syrup especially for the price we paid. It was disappointing and if you can go somewhere else do so. Also seriously be aware of the towing, don't leave your car alone.
Ordered the Lava flow. Delicious like always. A must when in the area.
Great employees, open Sundays, cute shop. They don't offer natural flavors and the flavors they do offer don't have much flavor.

This place will occasionally disappear from Google Maps, and frequently change its name (it's most recently named Haleiwa Shave Ice). I'm assuming this is done to cause confusion and avoid negative reviews from those who don't know any better. But be warned...this place is not "shave ice," but rather a tourist trap overflow for when the lines at Matsumoto's and Aoki's are too long, or they're closed. This place takes crushed ice from a bucket and puts cheap syrup on top—you'd fair better with a "snow cone" from a subpar Midwestern carnival. Not only that, but they charge more than Matsumoto's. Stay away!
Got the coconut, pineapple w/ condensed milk. It was tasty, just wished they gave actual spoons rather than wooden sticks. Generous portion.
ok gonna be HONEST here… I don’t even have high expectations for shaved ice…but this was bad people. Shaved ice comes in a cheap cup with toppings placed on top that immediately fall off and the flavored juice, condensed milk begin to overflow and fall over your hands. I’m embarrassed for them that they used canned pineapple on top - not fresh. Bottomline just stand in line for matsumoto.
