One of my favorite poke place on the island. Great portion, and fresh! Love the yuzu and wasabi poke and the crispy spicy ahi (the crunchy fried onion with ground ahi are amazing together). The soup from the udon were perfect to end the day after spending a day at the beach.
It is easy to overlook this truck with the emphasis on shrimp trucks on the North Shore, but this one should not be missed! The poke was super fresh and so flavorful. I had poke in several different parts of Oahu, and this truck was by far my favorite. I wish I had time to try more of their menu. What a gem.
Freshest poke on the island! We received a tip from North Shore Sailing Adventures that this was the best place for poke along the North Shore. They were entirely correct! The poke was so good, we visited three separate times over three days. And the rice… I can’t remember the last time I had such perfect Japanese style rice! Everything was delicious and made with care.
amazing poke. very fresh and tasty. traditional and authentic. this was the first time i had poke and i’m very happy i chose here :)the staff is super nice and very accommodating. i got the regular size ahi and salmon bowl and asked for the spicy sauce on the side.very reasonably priced and the proton size is good.
This is our favorite food truck on island! My go to is the Ali’i roll or the chicken karaage. Consistently good, fresh, well priced food. Never had a bad time here. Staff is friendly and service is quick too!
This food truck has no business being this delicious and yet they crush it every single time. We’re addicted. Even though we wanted to try other food stops during our short stay, we went back multiple times - it was THAT good. Our favorites: Chicken Karaage and basically all of the sushi rolls. You can’t go wrong. One time, I just asked them to make me a roll with whatever the chef wanted to use and it was the best thing ever. The outdoor dining area is the stuff of movies: picnic tables, string lights, wandering cats, slight breeze and good vibes.
Delicious food! Just the tables are a bit sticky. But we are happy to get one so we can sit and enjoy the yummy food!
This place exceed my expectations for sure! The fish was so fresh. The little truck is also really cute. Plenty of seating available outside too. I got the yuzu wasabi mini poke bowl. The portion size was perfect for me. I got a mix of salmon and tuna. There was just a little too much sauce on my rice which made it a little saltier than I would like but the poke itself was so so so good. I loved the addition of greens on the side.
Excellent first time here. Had 2 double bowls with spicy ahi, chicken, pork cutlet and beef sukiyaki (must get). $31 for 2 doubles in the pic.
