I got the Local bowl and it was one of the best açai bowls I’ve ever had! I really loved the texture of the açai base because it was smooth and thick, and not icy. I also loved the toppings, which included some more unique ones such as papaya and poi! I got a small size and it made a good breakfast. I got there at 9:30am on a Friday and there was no line.
Excellent acai bowl! The base was refreshing, the granola was crunchy, and the fruit was fresh. Couldn't ask for more after fishing on the north shore!
Good bowls, but not the best on the island. Can have long lines. Staff was friendly but not the fastest given how busy. If the lines aren’t too long the bowls are worth it. If they are more than 5-10 people deep probably not worth the wait better options out there.
Great açaí bowl! Love that they blend the berries in and make the açaí so much richer and tasty. They do make their bowls right after you place the order so it might take a while to get it if there’s a line.But totally worth it and not overly priced. Reg bowl 9-10 bucks larger one is 12 ish after tax
The bowls are yummy! I also got the golden latte and it was a bit chalky and also didn’t come with coffee as a default. Love the fact that they are plastic free.
Stopped here for a little pick me up after a snorkel tour and it was perfect. Super fresh and ready quite promptly. They sweetened my iced coffee with coconut milk and honey and I don't know if I can ever go back to cream and sugar it was absolutely delicious. Who Knew!?
I never really gave acai bowls any real thought prior to me walking up to the counter with my wife who wanted to try one. I wasn't really expecting much. The lineup was long, but certainly not as long as the shave ice place up the street. Anyways, Hale'iwa Bowls' portions are quite large and have lots of toppings. It was also crazy delicious and super healthy. I'm glad I tried it.
UPDATE: I’ve now been to three (sunrise and bonzai being the other two) açaí places and Haleiwa is by far my favorite. So good we had to come back again before we leave. The base smoothie has the best flavor, and you get the most honey here. They put the honey below the granola which makes it so you can have some in every bite, instead of just the drizzle on top. SO GOOD.FULL of flavor! And they are so liberal with the toppings (at least compared to other other açaí places I’ve tried), so much granola!! Again the flavor was amazing. The base wasn’t as thick as others, but it was still a good base. Overall probably our favorite açaí bowel stop on the island!
